You realize with such poor quality of a feed that an alteration like that would be noticed? Its not like they can duplicate that crapiness. The lining would never be perfect. It is just too hard to do without something not making sense...they would have to change everything including the coordinates. Hard to do that with websites showing locations of the ships in relevance to the ROVs...would take a lot of time effort money etc...

And you don't think BP has the money? They aren't desperate enough to hide what's really going on down there so they can save their asses to go through all that? I do, and I'm surprised you would so easily put that past them. No time, money or effort is too much if it's gonna save their skin. C'mon, you've seen first hand how they try to cover up what's going on by moving the camera away or shutting them off when something goes down.

Like I said, you can do ANYTHING with a computer these days and changing some numbers on a looped video and adjusting ship coordinates seems like child's play. Not saying it wouldn't cost money, but I'd bet it could be done especially by a company desperate to avoid fines and accountability in this mess they have caused. I bet it costs less money than what they would get fined. Wouldn't you say?

The Q4000 ROV 2 is a BOP but do not know
which one...leaking big time...hive build up & when it's
closer you can see the leak run up it...

Thanks, Ektar, for the great screen shots. It's comforting to know there is such good documentation of all that is happening. I suspect someday it will be very valuable, so thank you for all your time and effort. Have you ever contacted Rep. Markey about the videos, etc you have?

Do you think that yellow panel could have been damaged somehow? Especially since there seems to be a leak immediately below it, and the area is very dark.

Skandi 2 showing crusty white formation on the bottom, more than I've seen in one area before. I believe it's methane "ice". Main part of image was mostly frozen and pixellated while coordinates and time changed. There is gas? rising out of the banana-shaped? hole in the center (just below and right of center is the most concentrated from what I could discern from the poor quality image).

It looks to me that there is oil gushing out of whatever Q400O ROV 2 is pointed at, but the picture is so pixelated it's hard to tell.

Definitely some white bubble action on Ocean Intervention ROV 2 right now...to the right of the ROV nearly all the way off the screen.

Do you have any idea how much it costs to operate just one of these ROVs? If they wanted to cover it all up, then they simply wouldn't have the feeds on. Period. It costs millions of dollars a day to operate these things. And BP doesn't own them. They 'rent' them, or a vast majority of them from Oceanneering.

For them to have feeds on and be looping the footage makes no sense at all. They would do what you just said. Simply turn them off for a minute or two, slow the frame rates, turn away or just ignore everything altogether. It makes no sense at all for them to loop feeds when they don't have to.

And yes it has a lot to do with money...look what happened as a result of them cutting corners and trying to save as much money as possible. The rig exploded...so Yeah i do think they would not go the route of looping footage. Now I am not saying you never saw the looped footage, but of all the people I have heard say that it is looped or has been looped at some point, have yet to come up with any evidence to prove that. I just don't believe BP has done that yet. I may be more inclined to believe so once some evidence comes about.

Just saw that too. Looked like a whirlwind for a while, but the ROV didn't seem interested at all as it didn't pan over to it.

Both the Intervention cameras have been
exactly as you are seeing now...ALL day...
my screen shots of that don't do it justice

Edit Camera 1 has been having the Red Whirl
all the way up that right side most of the day...

That white stuff is actually the light shining on the dirt/sand. There are roughly 3 lights to an ROV and one is on the very bottom. Also with the color filter on, the contrast is way up, so it appears white.

Good screen shots. But the third image from the bottom is actually a shadow. I saw that too not too long ago and though the same thing, but it never changed shape (except for the pixels) and never moved really. If I had to guess, I would say it was a shadow of the ROV's claw/hand.

The fourth picture from the bottom also appears to be a shadow and appears to be moving because of the pixels. However, that BOP or whatever it is, I have seen leak...if that is the same thing they were wedging yesterday.

Cantaloupe, Watermelon, & all squashes just lifted up
& blew into a HUGE PILE! OUCH!

& if you meant by #4 I watched that oil & whatever
just flowing right up...
I'm trying real hard to make sure things are
moving or flowing before I take the shot & mark it...
That last shot asking about the puddle...I hadn't seen it
before so I didn't know if it was a shadow...

Did you see the photo series from last night
of the blow out...cool thing is there's a video shot at the
same time...totally backs up the photos...

Oh wow..those are some great pics....scary but great LOL.....Did you see the big explosion on Skandi2 this morning? Red orange yellow and black.....if it wasn't underwater I would say it was fire....the orange and red were very bright. It was somewhere around 11 am ..

I wish you could have got some shots of that one....It looked like hell! Literally. I hope your garden is ok. I'm really concerned about all these big explosions that have been going on almost every day.....so I tried looking it up...trying to find any info I can about them....NOTHING....no one is mentioning them AT ALL. The only thing you can find are some youtube videos. I want to know what the hell is going on down there. Why is no one saying anything about it? They act like the oil is the only problem....I am actually more concerned about the explosions. The bottom of the gulf looks like the freakin MOON it has so many craters from blow ups. When I first started watching, the seabed was smooth....not now. I have heard that these things occur from time to time, and that there are many asphalt volcanoes down there.....but this seems way over the top...EVERY DAY? What do you think?
