believe absolutely that Israel will probably react preemptively
CIA Director Leon Panetta said Sunday that Iran probably has enough low-enriched uranium for two nuclear weapons, but that it likely would take two years to build the bombs. Panetta told ABC television’s This Week that he is doubtful that recent UN penalties will put an end to Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Iran literally is surrounded by American troops, notes an oil market analyst, Energy and Capital editor Christian A. DeHaemer. There is no evidence of an imminent attack, but he connects a number of recent events and the presence of American soldiers to warn that oil prices might soar -- with or without a pre-emptive strike aimed at stopping Iran’s nuclear power ambitions.
CARACAS (Reuters) - Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez described Israel on Saturday as a genocidal state that acted as an assassin for the United States, predicting the Middle East nation would one day be "put in its place."
The socialist Chavez is a harsh critic of both Israel and the United States and cut relations with Israel after accusing it of "holocaust" for its 2009 offensive in the Gaza Strip.
"It has become the assassin arm of the United States, no one can doubt it. It is a threat to all of us," Chavez said, during a visit by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Chavez said he supported a peaceful struggle for the return to Syria of the Golan Heights, captured by Israel in 1967. "The territory will one day return to the Syrian hands," Chavez said. "Of course we want it to be peaceful because we don't want more war."
"But one day the genocidal state of Israel will be put into its place, and let's hope that a really democratic state emerges there, with which we can share a path and ideas."
Both U.S. and Israel have long had plans for a military strike on Iran, this is not new. However, now, considering the latest events, a military operation against Iran is quite possible, said Azerbaijani political expert Z. Alizadeh, commenting on a possible U.S.-Israel air strike on Iran, from Azerbaijani and Georgian territory.
"If Azerbaijan and Georgia will allow that the air strike will happen from their territories, then who said Iran will not fire back? So, the question is, do we really need all this? Azerbaijan does not need to get into these issues", said Alizadeh.
Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), According to Palestine al-Youm website, the CIA in the report predicted that formation of two separate countries for Palestinians and Israelis is impracticable, instead, a one-state solution would be offered which would be based on democratic principles of full equality aside from race and nationality.
It added a comprehensive and lasting solution is the return of the 1947/1948 and 1967 Palestinian refugees to their homeland.
The study, which has been made available only to a certain number of individuals, further forecast the return of all Palestinian refugees to the occupied territories, and the exodus of two million Israelis - who would move to the US in the next 15 years.

Worse? Iran cannot successfully invade any nation because it is boxed in with US allies and the US itself. That is why they are upset.
They point out that according to Israel, it will not be in a position to launch a strike on Iran without using bases in Georgia and Azerbaijan due to the limited capabilities of its nuclear submarines stationed near the Iranian coast.
