This is my first thread so take it easy on me.

I've always known that Mars could have had life...

The few first millimeters of Mars' surface is a reddish color, as far as I know. This is because of iron and oxide, rust. This presumably was water mixed with iron.

Before, these organisms had a chance to survive in water. But the water is obviously gone. Thus depriving the organisms of a habitat, presuming they didn't evolve.

My friend has a theory is that we started on Venus. Screwed that planet up, then our "parents" moved us to Mars and we screwed that planet up. Then they moved us here.

"Last chance, kids".

We just can't help ourselves.

He believes life has been and still may be on those planets. Maybe he's a bit wacko. Maybe not.

Mars is an ever changing planet. Life on earth has evolved in more hostile conditions than Mars.

Good documentary:

Talks about the best suitable place for us, in case we have to jump ship here. haha.
