Now check out this video (CGI) which visualizes just what the Pentagon might be envisaging with its plans to have robotic forces living amongst us
by the year 2025 (*).
There is nothing, that is not a quadraped, that can walk anywhere near as fluid and fast as that.
That is one of the biggest problems making robots like that. and we have been working on t for over fifty years.
I cannot imagine that in 15 years, we will be that advanced in robotics, it seems to be a painfully slow industry, and far behind what it should be.
There are too many things with a robot like that, we cannot do yet. I imagine a power scource being a huge obstacle, of a robot that small. Where do
you put a battery, that can power it for around 12 hours, that is light weight enough, and can charge in say about 30 minutes.
