Found this video from the Shanghai Expo showing these amazing robots performing synchronous movements. They start off pretty basic but then it begins to get a bit freaky... keep in mind the size of these things and how they could be utilized for future uses. The term 'techno-fascist state' may seem like a stretch, but since we're pretty much heading down the robotic soldier road already, why not a police force, etc.?

Now check out this video (CGI) which visualizes just what the Pentagon might be envisaging with its plans to have robotic forces living amongst us by the year 2025 (*).

That looks too real...

Techno-fascism, a relatively new term, haven't seen it used a lot... its going to get attached more and more to this 'new world order' fiasco with each passing year.

There is nothing, that is not a quadraped, that can walk anywhere near as fluid and fast as that.

That is one of the biggest problems making robots like that. and we have been working on t for over fifty years.

I cannot imagine that in 15 years, we will be that advanced in robotics, it seems to be a painfully slow industry, and far behind what it should be.

There are too many things with a robot like that, we cannot do yet. I imagine a power scource being a huge obstacle, of a robot that small. Where do you put a battery, that can power it for around 12 hours, that is light weight enough, and can charge in say about 30 minutes.
