We have heard about FEMA camps for a long time now. And not just as silly conspiracy rumours... Congress Seeks To Authorize & Legalize FEMA Camp Facilities .

We also know that Halliburton were give the construction and maintenance contract for said FEMA camps:

In another shining example of modern day corporate fascism, it was announced recently that Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root had been awarded a $385 million dollar contract by Homeland Security to construct detention and processing facilities in the event of a national emergency.

The language of the preamble to the agreement veils the program with talk of temporary migrant holding centers, but it is made clear that the camps will also be used "as the development of a plan to react to a national emergency." - www.prisonplanet.com...

So is it any surprise that Halliburton had something to do with the Oil Spill that could eventually lead to millions of Americans being forced to evacuate their homes and become 'prisoners' in these FEMA camps?

Such concerns also add weight to the rumour has it that the US Federal Government has issued the US Military with instructions to draw up plans for the forced evacuation of 40million residents in the South-Eastern United States! Readers of my previous Newsletter will be aware of the potential dangers to freshwater sources as the Hurricane season gets underway!

The Irony of this being that if such a forced evacuation would undoubtedly benefit Halliburton, who have held the maintenance contract of the archipelago of FEMA camp dotted throughout the US. It should also be noted that it was Halliburton who were responsible for the Cement of the Production Casing. The failure of which ultimately led to the blowout occurring.

Many readers will also be aware that Halliburton in made the synchronistic acquisition of Boots & Coots (one of the top four Companies specialising in dealing with oilfield blow-outs) on April 12th, just eight days before the BP Horizon disaster.

So Halliburton build the camps, maintain the camps and then set in motion the disaterous event that could eventually see millions become unwilling prisoners in the camps.

And evacuation is a very possible outcome:

“Plans are being put in place for the mandatory evacuation of New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Mandeville, Hammond, Houma, Belle Chase, Chalmette, Slidell, Biloxi, Gulfport, Pensacola, Hattiesburg, Mobile, Bay Minette, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City, Crestview, and Pascagoula,” Madsen writes.

On June 13, SoCal Martial Law Alerts (SCMLA) predicted that Gulf states would be evacuated. “Greg Evensen, a retired Kansas Highway Patrolman, estimates that 30-40 million people would need to be evacuated away from the Gulf’s coastline (i.e. at least 200 miles inland),” SCMLA reported. - my.auburnjournal.com...

Civillians: "30-40 million people need to be evacuated? But where are we going to go?"

Government: "Well, funny you should mention that..."

Watch this space.

Apparently you didn't get the memo - Glenn Beck debunked Fema Camps months ago.

Besides, I once looked into the eyes of Obama, and I saw that he was honest. Good man. Great teeth.

*coughs*

Yer, hardly conclusive is it.

The fact still remains that millions of people could be evacuated and they need somewhere to stay - so even if they haven't got these detainment camps I reckon we could start seeing them crop up in the coming months.

Could this be an excuse so that they could legitimately set up such camps?

I received an email this morning I think might fit well into this thread.

WAYNE ALLYN ROOT
Barack Obama is no fool. He is not incompetent. To the contrary, he is brilliant He knows exactly what he's doing. He is purposely overwhelming the U.S. economy to create systemic failure, economic crisis and social chaos -- thereby destroying capitalism and our country from within.
Barack Obama was my college classmate ( Columbia University , class of '83). As Glenn Beck correctly predicted from day one, Obama is following the plan of Cloward & Piven, two professors at Columbia University . They outlined a plan to socialize America by overwhelming the system with government spending and entitlement demands. Add up the clues below. Taken individually they're alarming. Taken as a whole, it is a brilliant, Machiavellian game plan to turn the United States into a socialist/Marxist state with a permanent majority that desperately needs government for survival .. and can be counted on to always vote for bigger government. Why not? They have no responsibility to pay for it.
-- Universal health care. The health care bill had very little to do with health care. It had everything to do with unionizing millions of hospital and health care workers, as well as adding 15,000 to 20,000 new IRS agents (who will join government employee unions). Obama doesn't care that giving free health care to 30 million Americans will add trillions to the national debt. What he does care about is that it cements the dependence of those 30 million voters to Democrats and big government. Who but a socialist revolutionary would pass this reckless spending bill in the middle of a depression?

-- Cap and trade. Like health care legislation having nothing to do with health care, cap and trade has nothing to do with global warming. It has everything to do with redistribution of income, government control of the economy and a criminal payoff to Obama's biggest contributors Those powerful and wealthy unions and contributors (like GE, which owns NBC, MSNBC and CNBC) can then be counted on to support everything Obama wants. They will kick-back hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions to Obama and the Democratic Party to keep them in power. The bonus is that all the new taxes on Americans with bigger cars, bigger homes and businesses helps Obama "spread the wealth around."

-- Make Puerto Rico a state. Why? Who's asking for a 51st state? Who's asking for millions of new welfare recipients and government entitlement addicts in the middle of a depression? Certainly not American taxpayers. But this has been Obama's plan all along. His goal is to add two new Democrat senators, five Democrat congressman and a million loyal Democratic voters who are dependent on big government.

-- Legalize 12 million illegal immigrants. Just giving these 12 million potential new citizens free health care alone could overwhelm the system and bankrupt America . But it adds 12 million reliable new Democrat voters who can be counted on to support big government. Add another few trillion dollars in welfare, aid to dependent children, food stamps, free medical, education, tax credits for the poor, and eventually Social Security.

-- Stimulus and bailouts. Where did all that money go? It went to Democrat contributors, organizations (ACORN), and unions -- including billions of dollars to save or create jobs of government employees across the country. It went to save GM and Chrysler so that their employees could keep paying union dues. It went to AIG so that Goldman Sachs could be bailed out (after giving Obama almost $1 million in contributions). A staggering $125 billion went to teachers (thereby protecting their union dues). All those public employees will vote loyally Democrat to protect their bloated salaries and pensions that are bankrupting America . The country goes broke, future generations face a bleak future, but Obama, the Democrat Party, government, and the unions grow more powerful. The ends justify the means.
-- Raise taxes on small business owners, high-income earners, and job creators. Put the entire burden on only the top 20 percent of taxpayers, redistribute the income, punish success, and reward those who did nothing to deserve it(except vote for Obama). Reagan wanted to dramaticallly cut taxes in order to starve government. Obama wants to dramatically raise taxes to starve his political opposition.

With the acts outlined above, Obama and his regime have created a vast and rapidly expanding constituency of voters dependent on big government; a vast privileged class of public employees who work for big government; and a government dedicated to destroying capitalism and installing themselves as socialist rulers by overwhelming the system.

Add it up and you've got the perfect Marxist scheme -- all devised by my Columbia University college classmate Barack Obama using the Cloward and Piven Plan.

It's interesting to note that Wayne Allen offered his libertarian presidential position to Ron Paul.

And I found this.

On March 9, Brannon Howse of Worldview Radio interviewed author James Simpson. Entitled “Barack Obama is Destroying Our Economy on Purpose,” Howse’s interview of Simpson concentrated on Columbia University professors Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven who wrote an article in 1966 for The Nation magazine. “The article was published on May 2, 1966 and laid out what is now known as the ‘Cloward-Piven Strategy’. The plan calls for the destruction of capitalism in America by swelling the welfare rolls to the point of collapsing our economy and then implementing socialism by nationalizing many private institutions,” explains a synopsis on the Worldview Radio website. “Cloward and Piven studied Saul Alinsky just like Hillary Clinton and President Obama.”

I didn't think there ever was a dispute about the existence of FEMA camps.

The dispute was their purpose, the fear mongers tend to liken them to WW2 concentration camps.

This thread from 2005 paints a solemn, realistic picture of what life at a FEMA camp is like:

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Now, one can argue that the methods employed there are heavy handed but what Katrina showed us, besides an inept emergency response plan is that human beings turn into savages when TSHTF.

The increased funding and resources given to FEMA in the years post Katrina have been hailed as the beginning of martial law and the concentration camps by those fear mongers.

What these increases are, in reality, is a response to the absolute appalling emergency response plans that failed miserably during Katrina.

I would hope that the mistakes made 5 years ago have been taken on board and improved on, so when the next disaster strikes, the response will not fail like it did previously.

From the thread you linked:

We then started lugging in our food products. The foods I had purchased were mainly snacks, but my mother - God bless her soul - had gone all out with fresh vegetables, fruits, canned goods, breakfast cereals, rice, and pancake fixings. That's when we got the next message:

They will not be able to use the kitchen.

Excuse me? I asked incredulously.

FEMA will not allow any of the kitchen facilities in any of the cabins to be used by the occupants due to fire hazards. FEMA will deliver meals to the cabins. The refugees will be given two meals per day by FEMA. They will not be able to cook. In fact, the "host" goes on to explain, some churches had already enquired about whether they could come in on weekends and fix meals for the people staying in their cabin. FEMA won't allow it because there could be a situation where one cabin gets steaks and another gets hot dogs - and... it could cause a riot.

It gets worse.

He then precedes to tell us that some churches had already enquired into whether they could send a van or bus on Sundays to pick up any occupants of their cabins who might be interested in attending church. FEMA will not allow this. The occupants of the camp cannot leave the camp for any reason. If they leave the camp they may never return. They will be issued FEMA identification cards and "a sum of money" and they will remain within the camp for the next 5 months.

My son looks at me and mumbles "Welcome to Krakow."

I understand your point Chadwickus, there are always people willing to take advantage of disasterous situations in order to make a profit, Katrina taught us that.

All I'm saying is that New Orleans has become some sort of testing ground for mass evacuation techniques and these people in power have it all set up.

Don't you find it suspicious that Halliburton have their fingers in both pies here - the Oil Spill and the FEMA camps?

The opportunity for this evacuation to be abused is evident and I think people should be prepared for it.

From what I have seen of companies like Halliburton, they have their fingers in so many pies because they know how to butter up to the government.

No doubt there is a lot of back scratching and insider trading going on.

That's as far as it goes as far as I'm concerned, this kind of thing happens in all kinds of industries (you should see what it's like here in the mining industry).

Slightly off topic, but if you think Halliburton are bad, then you probably have never heard of Serco...

These guys are elbow deep in many a pie and are not too different to Halliburton.

I wonder How many times, we as Humans or better yet Intelligent Beings...
Have we done this to ourselfs, Today while reading The morning saddness about the spill, I came to a conclusion....

It is Not BP, Haliburton, or Obama's Fault, We share equally in it. How Many of us has gotten into there car to go shopping and\or to vist a friend when we could of walked or rode a bike....

We are a very poor excuse for intelligent being, we are selfish, uncaring, thoughtless, driven only by greed and lazyness.....

we talk and talk... but how many of really do anything.... right around most of us we have petrolum products with in arms reach of us... The computers we use to post here are made from the same product that is killing the 7th largest body of water... Water bottles, Ipods, Tvs...

But Here I am typing on one of those products .... Today I hold my head in shame, Today I point the finger of blame at myself....

Today I realize, That what is to come - I am, as an intelligent being to blame
.............

How many more Times are we going to do this to ourselves

Halliburton now thats a name that keeps poping up time and again.

Would it be racist to ask if most of the managment is jewish !

if they needed company to print ameros then this would be the one but unfortunatly it will be 100% digital.

Have we got room in our prisons to house all the criminals running the USA or would we find use for these FEMA camps ourselves.
