Bright Light "Fireball" in the night sky over SE PA.

About the same time, several people from Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Connecticut posted on Twitter that they saw an object, which they described as a "fireball" or "meteor." "Huge, huge, huge meteor just fell over White Hall, Md.," one person wrote. "Exploded in huge flash. Green tail. Yellow fireball head."

"It was a big flash of blue light, and it flashed three or four times before this bright silver ball floated down to the ground,"

When the ball O'Donnell was watching dipped out of sight, he said he "definitely heard it hit the ground. The sound was kind of faint, but I heard a thud."

I personally didn't see this, but it's interesting none the less as I am within 30-45 minutes of this. Did any other PA ATS'ers catch this? I'd LOVE some pics!

Im in northern delaware, my kids and I were out star gazing..
and we saw it..
it was BEAUTIFUL..

wish I had a camera..
scared the HELL out of me at first.. till I realized what it was..
it was bright as day for 1.5-2.5 seconds..
once in a lifetime.. Im glad we went outside to daydream with the stars

we wanted to go try and hunt it down to see if it landed close, but we didnt hear anything...
so we didnt bother.. 8-D

well I just checked youtube and found nothing
on it, but it's still early yet. Just happened
30 mins ago but it may show up with some
footage here in a lil while.

I hope somebody happened to have their camera running and caught it..
it was over so quick...
I wish I had an HD video camera embedded in my eye..

because it really was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen,,

I'm in upstate New York and I was outside and saw it! It was a quick bright light but my boyfriend and his buddy saw it too so I knew I wasn't seeing things. It was beautiful!
