Parcel Bomb Kills Aide to Greek Counter-Terrorism Minister

A bomb blast at the offices of Greece's public order ministry in Athens has killed a close aide to the minister responsible for counter-terrorism.

Police said the victim had opened a parcel bomb.

The explosion happened only metres away from the office of the minister, Michalis Chryssohoidis, who was unhurt.

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou said the bombing was a terrorist attack.

Quite a bit of disturbing news going on all around the world. I'm sure most people remember hearing about the Greek economic crisis. Just one more thing to put that country, and even all of NATO, in fear. I hope they find out who is responsible, and don't pin it on someone incorrectly. Will they point to the Turkish? Or Al-Qaeda? Maybe home grown? Hopefully other nations up their security on these matters before bombs get into their offices.
