thanks for posting this it's a good reminder that Energy companies aren't out just to destroy the ocean . The thing is that techniques exist to
minimize this damage. I was living in Seattle when three boys were killed when one of them lite a lighter or a match can't remember and it resulted
in an explosion that devastated a few city blocks . This was because a gas pipeline had been leaking for years into the stream they were playing in .
Many warnings had been issued to that company it came out later to fix their pipeline . They didn't and were not reprimanded for their failure to
comply . These companies operate virtually unfettered and the consequences of the damage they do to people, economies , and delicate ground water
systems is definitely not worth what we get in return,it's like that passage in the bible about selling your inheritance for a pot of lentils
