You have an interesting point of view - but when you make hateful statements and overgeneralize people I fear they will not listen to your message. Instead of bringing new ideas to people so they can change for the positive - they will most likely only hear the negative and be turned off.
Not all Americans are the same - just as can be said for any nationality - we all suffer from time to time from getting lumped into the same sum (all Irish are drunks, Brits have bad teeth and so on).
I am not sure what yours is but if I had to take a guess from your name (pardon if I am wrong) I would think that your people are also victims of overgeneralizing too.
Anyway thats just my two cents.

Jeff started the other thread about his laptop and missing files.He abandoned it because of the heat he was getting.

He should go back to that thread and answer all those questions before starting a new one about this "tripe"!

It is really starting to sound like a book salesman.

Is not the computer you used to start this thread made from plastics or has used oil in one form or another? have you never used any plastics in your life? See, you are clumping all of America into one pile, and talk like all Americans think and act the same. If you pay attention, you will see that only about 45 to 50 percent of the people here in America think our president is doing a good job, and was even lower when Bush was in office.

Now, I don't know where you live but it sounds like you must work very close to your home so you can walk or ride a bike. If you think that no Americans walk or ride to work or don't own a car, I think you need to open your eyes. It seems that wherever you are from they have brainwashed you into thinking Americans are all evil. If you believe the media and the people trying to control you, then they have won. Please, for your own sake, wake up.

America never built up a railway system like Europe who's fault is that?

You need to stop and get your American history better understood pal.The American railway system built this Nation.

I didn't abandon anything(and heat doesn't bother me), the report i'm writing or the thread, the fact is my computer/s were seized whether for possible terrorism ties and/or violating the DMCA act..... really on advice from my attorney I can't discuss the matter and further elaborate on the issue forum, in public, amongst friends and so forth. You people call it lawyering up NO?!! I watch CSI a little also so there's that and really could care-less if people on ATS don't like me. I get that in the non-imaginary world also.

Unless someone here who lives in the new england geographical local would like to represent me either pro-bono, or a much reduced rate versus my current attorney. Make sure you have excellent credentials otherwise it's futile discussing an ongoing case until it's vacated. You can PM me credentials if interested.

I thought the chinese built your decrepit, aging, over worked rail system that OBVIOUSLY hasn't been maintained otherwise you wouldn't have 18 wheeler trucks transporting all the goods around!

WW2 ended in 1945 we are now in 2010 so I see no relevance bringing this onto the dinner table unless you want 65 year old stale crumpets....so disregarded for dated material.....

anyway easy response and perhaps you shouldn't look at the past all so much......

OK I answer the computer question ALL the time I own a little asus netbook plus a desktop I buy on ebay cheap for gaming and stuff like that

I take the train to Cambridge 3 days per week for computer repair initially I had a credit collection job, but it interfered with school work and made me depressed+ I sell text books, collector books, and so forth on ebay I do this by cruising the library system once a week....Last month I pick up a signed stephen king book and sold for over $200... I average about 700 per month with this and it's done all on a T pass and walking. Plus I have another job which i'll not elaborate on (not terrorism or drugs)....I am from Kuwait and Americans think we are all oil sheiks NOT THE case well my Father has interest in several oil production facilities but the only economic relief I have from him is rental, and school tuition. If I want to eat or enjoy myself I must work.......This gibberish that i think all americans are evil? phoey only suv pigs OK.....and so I derive my own opinions of America!

PLUS my name is not really binladen only a pen name such as Mark Twain! I did this because ..........Many judge me just for that TRUE

and so just like when I travel through customs and am questioned unlike other people now i am the same on ATS...I would not want it any different either! I like to argue in fact enjoy it immensely so what? My future employment will revolve around others taking orders from me. So I need this experience.

Since you are from kuwait, what will happen to the middle eastern economy if the developed and semi-developed world stopped using oil and went to alternative energy?

What would happen to all the oil companies?

What would happen to all those unemployed people who only know about oil jobs? There could be millions unemployed in a short period of time!

I agree about your comments of america over-consuming oil but lesser blames can be put on almost any country, especially india and china.

Capitalism is all about making money and exploiting international boundaries to get ahead, hence I am a socialist! When profit driven greed goes out the window there will be fewer accidents and less overall consumption.

Oil is not the problem. Capitalism and over-population are two real problems!

jeff, you seem to change where you live every day. a week ago you said you lived in the UK, then it was New Jersey, then you said you drive a car, but hate SUV's , now you say you only walk and bike.
