Help! U2U button stuck on "U2U!"

It's been stuck that way ever since the various oil threads were consolidated into one.

I've checked in, out, etc., but evrything is fine there, no unanswered messages or unsent ones.

Mods? Can you flip the flag on it please?

Maybe someone sent you a U2U with the caps in the wrong place so for example your username is 'apacheman' but someone sent you a U2U under the name of 'ApacheMan'

As far as I'm aware that can cause a U2U button to be 'stuck', just delete or save it and it should go back to normal.

ETA: This may help you out: The u2u button stays red but I have no new u2us. You can help stop this.

Mine is like that also, stayed like that for a day a couple of weeks ago and now stuck on again today.

That happened to me before...I just clicked on every one of them and deleted til I got the one that was causing it to act up.

Click on u2u and make sure its read,then hit delete.
That seemed to work for me.

you know it just occurred to me, the u2u button should change color when you have a new message

it does, that's what the thread is about, as sometimes it stays changed, even after you've read all the messages. (IIRC you can either delete them, or clear your cookies to sort it)

In this glitch it shows up as a new message when in fact it is not, that's why it's an issue, it can be really frustrating (to me anyway) when it constantly says I have a new message.

Thanks...deleted all the thread moved messages and that cleared it.

I don't have a U2U button anymore It poofed a few days ago.
