By the way, it would be nice to believe there is something down there. I want to be amazed. :-) Logic and rational thought seems to be an obstacle though!

The hexagonal shape of the polar holes of the Saturn may not be easily explained. But the hole itself is, according to the theory of dipole gravity, the source of the repulsive gravity center. The object at the poles substantially feel less gravity than the other part of the rotating spherical object. So the fast rotating black hole can have material jets coming out of the poles. This matter ejected from the poles come back to the equatorial plane and back to the center of the galaxy, basically recycling the whole matter particles. This force is responsible for the spiral shape of the galaxies because the orbit can be closed only when the gravity is 1/r dependent. Many new scientific discoveries are suppressed these days by the scienctific community. It is not like the early 1920s. It is the global problem. The necessary information for us to overcome mysery and poverty is out there but somethings or someones don't want to let it be known to the general public.

And to think, some people I know actually think the Internet is solely a haven for miscreants and pornography. Although the two exist in abundance, I always argue in favor of the vast amount of info available, via many millions of websites. Seasoned as I like to believe I am, I know there is a sea of disinfo and dead ends in here as well. Only the individual can know if he/she truly has a discerning nature, and only that can serve as a guide through murky waters.
To the point, this article plays to what I'm saying. So much to learn, and today was no exception. I never knew about the hollow earth theory. Heard of Byrd, but not about this! Great post, and thanx.
My eyes are opened just a little more, and new sources of research and avenues of discovery await.
I only fear that this free exchange of perspective and knowledge called the Web will soon be in jeopardy, cuz you guys are getting to smart fer yer britches. Janet Nappy said that.
Thanks, ATS.

Could you point some of those valid points? Thanks in advance.

That said, this is a site for conspiracy theorists and the like and while I'm not in any way saying it is my or anyone else place to say so ,except for the webmasters of ATS, I really think that all of these debunkers that are flooding the gates of this site should discuss their topics at skeptic.com or skepticnews.com...somewhere that makes sense to have such views.

A discussion is based in different opinions, so what's the point of having a sceptics or believers only forum?

People have their own opinions, and if the hollow Earth theory has (apparently) more sceptics than most of the other theories that are posted on ATS that means only that it's a less popular theory. And the fact that some people are sceptic about something doesn't mean that they cannot agree with some conspiracy theories, but it also means that they don't have to agree with all (specially when some of those theories are mutually exclusive).

PS: I know that I am seen as a sceptic (and I really am), but the degree of scepticism depends on the data that is presented to back up any theory, and in this particular case, I have yet to see good data backing up the theory.

Did You read my posts and links?? I thought not! Centrifugal force... It's a game changer.... apparently people think it's not

It's been few years, so I maybe mixing few theories... or making up my own
, anyhow here's the parts I could find about what Nassim was saying, i'll keep searching see if I can find what I think I heard... gonna take some time, at work atm. So here's some food for thought..

Oh no, oh my sweet Lord... The ghastly specter of Haramein rears its ugly head in this thread!

Please relegate this to the existing thread on the topic of this charlatan's "theories", and let us continue playing with the idea off hollow earth, it's fun

All I can say is thank you for a very entertaining read. You put allot of work into this and it was refreshing to see this on the forums and it gave us a break from the BP coverage.
I really enjoyed it.

My First ever post on ATS!

Op thanks for the thread.I have always viewed the theory as suspect at best but I too admit that there are many things we don't know.

My primary point of argument in the hollow earth theory is the concept of the central sun. What is it? its too small to be a sun in the typical sense-and if it was it would exert a gravitational pull on the folks on the inside.
Without a source of light energy the whole theory is destroyed. No photosythesis no heat etc.So this central sun is integral to the hollow earth theory. But with a small central sun we also destroy our cosmological models of star formation unless this thing is not a H to He sun of some kind.
And-with any spinning object there is a propensity to fly apart. What keeps the crust from fragmenting as the earth spins?
Anyhow thanks for the thread.

Pardon what will likely be a drive-by, but I wanted to comment that I've read several threads about Hollow Earth, and this is by far and away the best one. !

Now, do I believe the earth is hollow? Nope. I do not.

I find this fascinating. Man believes Earth is round and is said to be a crackpot. Man believes Earth is not the center of the universe and is called a crackpot. Man believes Earth is over 4 billion years old and is called a crackpot. Man believes in tectonic plates and it called a crackpot. Man believes Earth is hollow and is called a crackpot.

For those of you that want someone whos been there and don't understand the lack of evidence or how pictures that show the true nature of polar holes, well Deepwater Horizon. That's all I have to say.

Not saying its true or that I believe. Just drawing similarities.

Also interesting is that if this is true, all our concepts of planetary mass and gravity would change. Lending more creedence to the theory. Example is that if a comet/asteroid is not as massy or as dense as we thought, it could theoretically impact the surface of the Earth without collapsing it. And if the sun is not a dense or massy as we thought then having an internal sun would be plausible.

Reductio ad absurdum is my friend. The consequences of this only lend it more credibility.

I read all your posts in this thread (including several off-topic posts
) but I didn't read all the text from your links (too much text for too little time), but I think you are seeing the effects of centrifugal force in a wrong way.

If instead of a molten rock sphere spinning in space we have a piece of clay, what happens to the clay? Does it get hollow with the centrifugal forces? No, it doesn't, it changes shape (like Earth and all other planets and stars, that are not perfect spheres but slightly "squashed" by the centrifugal force) but it remains in on piece, without any holes inside it.

Now think of it from the perspective of the hollow appearing inside of a giant, spinning, molten rock sphere; how does that hollow space appears? It must be a vacuum, seeing that there isn't any gas being injected to create that space, so if it's a vacuum, doesn't that help gravity (a much stronger force than the centrifugal force of a spinning planet) close that new vacant space?

Creating a hollow space inside a spinning sphere of almost liquid material is something that doesn't happen.

Well without a doubt the thread is interesting and entertaining!

SK you always have delivered interesting topics and present them with dedication, I salute you in your approach once again!

S&F

You know when I was a kid I really wanted the Journey To the Center of the earth to be real.

Though I think the pressures and the MAGMA might make the experience a little cumbersome though

Moving on --- the actions and calculations of gravity, on a planetary scale, are fairly prosaic, anyway. The larger questions are a comological and universal concept, that are still being refined.

But, locally, for one planet at a time, it is highly, highly implausible for the "hollow" theory to be an explanation, let alone a theory.

First, there is simply no natural mechanism to explain such a formation. Second, back to the local effects of gravity -- they are undeniable, and relentless. They WILL compact every last bit as tightly as possible, depending on the overall mass of the constituent material. Otherwise, smaller bodies --- asteroids, comets, etc would not form.

Good post. Since you're talking about local effects....what effect would a hollow earth have on the moon? Isn't it a gravitational interaction of the Earth and Moon that causes tides? If the earth were hollow, would we even have a moon, much less tides?

Hollow earth is interesting, but only as fiction.

The words "massy" and "creedence" could not be found in my dictionary, so please translate.

And... Our concepts of gravity are based on great many experiments involving not only Earth but numerous other objects (even including gamma rays), so Earth may be like Swiss cheese and yet I doubt our "concepts of gravity" will change because of that.

So you believe that NASA is the only people who have satellites with cameras ? And if the American government wants to cover something up about planet earth than the rest of humanity will naturally say "yes sir" and follow them ?? Where does this grand opinion of America and NASA come from ?

Are you for real ? Huge holes at the poles and they managed to keep it secret even today when millions of people travel over the poles in inter continental flights ? When any idiot with a biplane can fly over and check it out ? When every two bit country has their own space program ??

Not that I disagree or buy into the Agartha stuff but please keep in mind that most if not all satellites don't exactly orbit around the poles region in a latitudinal way. In fact most satellites try to avoid orbiting too near or down the poles due to the magnetosphere and the possible failures it can cause.

And personally I have to say that I'm not aware of a single flight course which "millions" use that goes exactly over the poles. Most orbits and flight paths that I'm aware (which I recognize are few) are longitudinal.

You may want to listen to this show with Dr. Brooks Agnew. He is organizing an expedition to the North Pole in the hopes of finding the entrance to the inner earth:

What a nutter. An internal sun... ie a planet within a planet. ATS used to be serious, then it turned into comedy, now it's just plain weird.

I want to thank everyone that shows his appreciation and and apologize. It is impossible for me to reply to everyone. If I don't, please take comfort for I have read every single reply.

Take this thread as I intended it to be. A collection of info with stuff I just don't know and am amazed from.

On topic

@ Weedwacker.
Gravity. What if our scale is just of ? Never mind silly idea.
What about dark matter ? We are not even sure it exist but if it does then why should it not be everywhere ?

The electricity is flowing through the Aether.
From what I've heard both are not proven but in our standard theory, that's ok. They can alter it to fit. ( Not my words )

Aether however not proven to be real. Also explains another floating thingy. Known and used in the East for millennia. For the west it is still in its infancy.

Chi, Ki, Reiki, Chakra's. Forces that make human capable of un human actions. Positivity or Negativity can be transferred from one to the next.
There is even a science which make it all possible...In theory.

Our sun and the earth share a bond. One of gravity. ( Please correct me when I'm wrong ) The gravity of the sun pulls on uss. But the gravity from the Earth at some point finds a balance with that of the sun. Its orbit. Right ?

Can you show me the math that is behind it ?
Please keep it simple. I threw physics in the thrash bin the minute I was offered a choice between it and french.
The single most dumbest idea I have ever had...

Cause I miss the basics of physics which is a pain when you like it. I still can't speak french either.

Which was worth it because apparently having a Dutch dialect is hot.

Commercial aircraft have been flying over the North Pole since 1957, when Scandinavian Airlines began Douglas DC-6 service from Oslo to Anchorage and on to Tokyo. Back in those bad old days, the impassable airspace of the Soviet Union stood smack in the middle of most logical routes from Europe to East Asia, so airlines would take passengers on a circuitous journey through Alaska. When Finnair introduced the first nonstops from Europe to Japan in 1983, they had to do so by flying over the pole and down through the Bering Strait.

Great topic ! Here is a very different theory , but one that might lend some clues to how a sun could form within a planet
