I have a question for you, Why are American people so set on hating each other? What do you get out of it? Anything? Morally? Ethically? Psychologically? You say that republicans are morons, well, hate to break it to ya, but you just joined the club! What happened to not sinking to their level? You created this thread just to bash people you obviously don't like. The sheer lack of tact and respect for your fellow Americans, is in really poor taste. You know what the great thing about debate is? There are rules. Even the most heated and determined opponents must show each other respect and NOT attack the opposition, but the ideals espoused by the opposition. A lesson QUITE a few people on this site would do well to take to heart. There is no debate, or engaging conversation, only hate. I feel sorry for you. It must be hard to be that angry.

So first off let me get this straight...

You are trolling on a forum about a debate you had with trolls?

OK.

Fascism is far right-wing and can be understood as corporate or private controlled government.

In the spectrum of Government, the Right Wing is the absence of Government in general, Anarchy being the furthest one can go, Libertarianism being the extreme of Government.

Communism is Government control entirely.

Fascism is Government control through Corporate design entirely.

It's not a left/right conundrum when comparing Communism and Fascism, it's a fork in the road so to speak.. imagine a straight line, Anarchy at the far right, then moving left at the very end it forks and you have Communism/fascism.

The only TRUE difference between the two, is Fascism directly supports the Oligarchy, as individuals are far more likely to profit from Government endeavor.

America is a Fascist country, at least lateley, as we combine Socialism with Corporatism.

Next I'd like to point out Tea Party is not a party and has no members except for the Tea Party Express which is owned by the Republic Party. The term is to describe apparently anyone who doesn't like Obama, it's original purpose (it was started under Bush) was against all Government in general.

Next I'd say that Authoritarian countries are not defined as Communist or Fascist.. Hitler hated both Fascist and Communist.. he was a Socialist yes, but he actually operated almost exactly like Napoleon did, and we never got to see Hitlers Germany outside of a War-time economy. He was for lack of a better word, simply a Despot.

If you want to learn about Fascism, here you go.

Mises Institute: The Economics Of Fascism (18 lectures by prominent economists)
www.youtube.com...

Here's an entire course on it by professional economists.

Fascism is a far left philosophy, as left is defined by the amount of government involvement in the economy and regulation of behavior.

Here's a great lecture by Block, one of my favorite economists.

Walter Block: Socialism and Fascism: A Political-Economic Spectrum Analysis
www.youtube.com...

Block breaks down the difference between the two and explains just how little difference there really is.

I recommend watching all the videos by Block, because Block is a genius.

I also recommend watching all the videos by Tom Woods, because Woods is also a genius.

Why are American Republicans so moronic?

For the same reason that American Democrats, Liberatarians, Whigs, Greens, etc etc are

They play in "my team" politics and side with their party over common sense every time.

You do know that the "hard-core left" would be considered Center-RIGHT everywhere else. Except maybe Saudi Arabia.

I suppose.. But Im just speaking to american politics. I didn't say extreme liberal because, you don't have to be extreme to be a political idiot. All you have to be is unwilling to listen.

I think everyone is forgetting Hitler was an exception psychopath.

Communism with its method of madness is making a powerful and insidious attack upon our dismayed and shattered nation. It seeks to poison and disrupt in order to hurl us into an epoch of chaos.... This negative, destroying spirit spared nothing of all that is highest and most valuable. Beginning with the family, it has undermined the very foundations of morality and faith and scoffs at culture and business, nation and Fatherland, justice and honor. Fourteen years of Marxism have ruined Germany; one year of bolshevism would destroy her.

Here it is from the horses mouth, morality, faith, culture and attack upon the institution of business. These points in particle are very familiar, no?

In SOME regards republicans are "values" based, the Blue laws in Texas area great example. It is off course a different culture in a different land, but I believe conservative values are often projected as laws to ban or prohibit culturally
unacceptable, physical acts.

There is the immigration issue alight today, made famous by Arizona in recent,

One could juxtapose a 2010 Mexican with the perceived foreign pollution of German values and economics, which created the popular indignation then; and still sells here now. Same political wedge, different patsy.

Then we have the military and patriotism as cultural focus,

you don't see liberals waving "Bomb em" banners do you?

On the contrary liberals are labeled as weak pussies when it comes to national defense. Yet another example where American lefties
do not fit the fascist mold... we don't carry around our flags, or have a fetish with eagles...

and

The preoccupation with guns as a means to resolve political disagreements...
I have heard the vailed rhetoric, read the Thomas Jefferson quote many use here.
the tree of liberty, revolution and white hot anger. Jail the Potus for treason, water that tree = Night of the long knives, a purge of the traitors. This unquestioning righteousness (in regards to ideological supremacy) the fractured and segmented conglomerate of the American left at all. Look at how poorly the left has handle popular perception, its like herding cats.

Some care for the environment, but could care less about gays or gun control. The unified anger the TEA righties invoke, the cause and call for traditional notions is red meat; that is a commonality IMO.

This extreme fear of socialism as a political concept holds a common thread. This notion that the commies are creeping in and poisoning the economy with their methods.
Hitler publicly projected this speak all throughout the 30's. Once again...

Disapproval of alternate lifestyle, homosexuality, Nazi Germany was not gay friendly,
once again I have not seen hippies with "Bern Em Gays" signs about, have any of you?
Hitler would SMASH San Francisco if he had been an American tyrant.

Promotion of Family Values in the political sphere, the family unit and the propagation
of pro country ideas,

the statement "anti American" comes from a similar position. I have been accused of this state many times here.

It is the business aspect that really straddles the line, Hitler was pro union, however his financiers here in the West were very anti union, which is lefty. Hitler did proclaim-ate in a very pro business manner, this care for business as an institution is the antithetical position of a proper lefty. As we know, the American socialist are out to interfere with business using "violence". Just as the Lefties sought to further undermine German industry. Hitler was a huge proponent of big industry- The constant deregulation craze is out of a fondness for business, American lefties are again, a thorn in business's side.
I hear this all the time...

Then again there are some very lefty things in Nazi doctrine, environment, public works and social justice... Lefty stuff no doubt, clear as day.

I think Fascism is an amalgamation, it is a state that cannot be defined the same way twice as it is invoked as a reaction to political realities and the perceptions of those particular circumstance. Some of you righties DO NOT exhibit many of these cultural
parallels. While I may fill those gaps, you may account for some of the others.

we all need to monitor our own belief as they intersect with reality and function,
the Germans were men just like us, so were the Russians and Japanese. For it
is the fervent belief in ones own ideas that allows such a climate to unfurl. People will justify anything to achieve anything when angry enough, this is the lesson of the NAZI.

No JPZ thats not my point

My point is, in recent times, liberals usually populate the anti war rallies, that does not mean our politicians listen. It is a very strong belief in me, the Lib in your tarian
has the same sentiment; per my observation...

Conservatives advocate the condensation of government, that doesn't mean conservative politicians listen,,, does it?

I do not use patriotic or symbolism of talk to further my political ideas, neither do you.

But, Do you think it is unfair to state that the popular American right tends to use
traditional symbolism and verbiage as a manner to bolster the base? In short, might
and the glory of the military. Manhood thru force-

read between the lines in this thread

instead of bash this validity of war, many focus of the poor manifestation of force and brutality, calling for a purer manifestation without consideration but the might projected
and its intention.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I don't think that is unfair of me,

I can state that the left uses immigration and race in a similar manner-

everyone has gotten a go here, I am tired of hearing I am the spawn of Nazi's and having to brush it off repeatedly, so I stepped into the crap heep, I am only human.

Fortunately I don't think any of you are Nazi's, but I worry when others think I am...
Some would kill a Nazi on principle alone... Several parallels do not mandate a proof positive, but they can indicate a propensity or mathematical possibility. With this in mind the deviations throughout are not conclusive and exclude ALL parties by the presence of these variations. + End can press my buttons (: and I his

Sorry, but if you start a debate by calling people names, to me you have already lost. Your title could've been less offensive, like "I can't understand those american republicans" or even "Why american republicans are wrong".

And no, I am not republican(I'm brazilian), nor do I take sides with any political party in US(since deep down they are all the same).

Actually this is very interesting..

Prior to the elections there was a LOT of anti-war sentiment.. I know in the city I live there were weekly rallies, albeit not that big, maybe 50-100 people, maybe 150 on a good day. And you heard about it endlessly.. end the war, bring home the troops, end it now, we are sick of the war, etc, etc, etc...

And yet, now that a Liberal has been elected, the Anti-War sentiment is almost completely gone, except for the extreme right and the extreme left (yes, we on the right wing fringe are just as mad about the war as progressives claim to be).

I ask my self... why.. where .. how .. did all the anti-war rhetoric just.. vanish? And not only that, but still in the news it's terrrrist this, terrrrrist that.. and more bomb-bomb-bomb-Iran.

IMO... Liberals are not against war in the sense that they are against any form of military action even if they don't have to see it everyday and doesn't disrupt their life. They are against war in the sense that if the "opponent" is fighting the war, then it's a bad war. Once they start one, or take over one, it ok to drag it out and keep it going, hell, why not expand it. No one gives a damn. Those rallies I mentioned at the beginning of the post, average 10 people on a good day meeting downtown. It's all about politics.. few people have the conviction to stand for what they believe in when their admired leaders differ their point of view, and even fewer have the capability to create their own beliefs, but parrot what the dear leader tells them to.

Republicans make the mistake of thinking there is a 'good' brand of authoritarianism.

Morality police statism.

Social dictatorism, that they want to deny as a form of Socialism.

Supposedly it is only 'Socialism' if it is economic dictatorism.

They want to see everyone become 'perfected' robots to fit in to corporate scheming as long as it parallels their morality policing.

To them the ONLY value of free will is surrendering it to some religious, morality 'authority'.

They are somewhat frightened, tense, paranoid people who do not see/perceive any advantages in utilizing the flow of things.

Order must be violently forced. Order must be sterile & antiseptic. Order can not stand a single question raised counter to its current blueprint.

They are not logic engineers who can co-opt pre-existing, contextual, usually chaotic, paradigms to make a sustainable & progressing order of things.

There is no 'art' there is only imposition [rape?].

Reality moves on. It leaves heavy, unsupportable edifices behind in the scenery or rubble of history.

I think people have to find their own individual centers. And gentle governing both partially protects them as well as leans on them from time to time.

Governance starts from within as a self-discipline learned/earned a little bit from training, but more so from experience.

Governance i instill in myself lasts my whole life long.

Government out there somewhere comes & goes. Some are definitely better that respect me, some are terrifyingly & even deadly dangerous that don't.

I am the master, i am the subject. And i must reconcile things with myself first & foremost.
And i hope the every changing winds of circumstance are not inescapably violently deadly nor painful to myself.

Why is my group so much superior than our opponents?

That is what you essentially just asked.

As though Republicans have a monopoly on Stupidity.

I strongly disagree with the statement that more stupid people are republican than democrats. There are enough idiots and morons on both sides.

And yes, I have seen and read the reports and statistics. Statistics are meaningless when it comes to peoples opinions and abilities.

The amount of Leftists that just parrot off the usual liberal dogma without thinking about it, is in absolute balance with their right wing counterparts.

Read Alternet a few weeks "10 ways why we are better than republicans", "10 things to do to save the world", "10 rightwing pundits we just love to hate". The ability to read or write better does not a genius make.

Alone the antagonism displayed by the Liberal wing towards the Right shows plain and clearly these are not different people at all. Just people with a different imprinted ideology.

There are still some Liberals backing Obama ffs. Because in Name, he espouses to be a Liberal.

I will not follow anyone who clothes himself in such a used, wornout old mantel, especially when both ideologies have failed.

Bring on the new!

"Hitler wasn't a socialist"

LOL

good one.

Its amazing, isn't it?

In 1927, Hitler said: "We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are determined to destroy this system under all conditions."

In a 1929 interview, he stepped away from the socialist label, but only the label. In 1930:

I want everyone to keep what he has earned, subject to the principle that the good of the community takes priority over that of the individual. But the State should retain control; every owner should feel himself to be an agent of the State ... The Third Reich will always retain the right to control property owners

Wow, what a right winger that guy was!

Source; just look under the 'anti-capitalist rhetoric' section
