Good pick up Omega, IMO it appears that another one of Kevin07's policies/proposals is going to go BOOM.

It may be the proposed super tax on miners, the only way for this to go away is with his ultimate removal.

The miners have been spending up big in getting their message out.

Yep. I note that Kev leans a little to the right and should have known better than to go stab his business constituents in the back!

Personal Disclosure: If it is true and she is now Prime Mistress, I would of loved to have seen Kev's Ruddy complection of a face as he said "Et tu Julia?!" as she stilleto'ed him!!!

Gillard might just be Australia's Barack Obama. The only change we will get is a different puppet with newer strings...

PM A Puppet or a "PM-PuppetMaster?" Gillard isn't umm... from Africa. Is she? She could come from somewhere...

Rudd was untouchable at the start of the year, no thanks to the Liberals collapse from the top down.

To the point I really thought he was going to call an early election.

I bet he wishes he did now.

I wonder what Kim Beazley is up these days?

He's [Edit AKA the prime minister, which is what I should have typed :shk: soz
] is just a puppet! The Queen and her privy council have to sign off on every single piece of legislation... this can take years!

Australia is a Monarchy! Remember that failed referendum on the Republic pushed by Malcom Turnbull???

Personal Disclosure: The Queen is both Monarch and Pope! Church AND State as one! So regardless of which puppet is on the stage the Royal Windsors of change are the REAL Puppet masters directing the show from behind the scenes and in a far distant land!

Edited to clarify. Sigh

So a foreigner is permitted to become an Australian Prime Minister? Is it just permitted for countries under the Crown? Will this be Australia's first Welsh born PM?

She use to be the secretary for the Left-wing organization, Socialist Forum, so she must be a pretty Socialist politician. That would be a change, we all know the Australian Labor Party has long forgotten its' Socialist roots in favor of Economic Liberalism.

Explanation: St*r for you!

The requirements are all in here...

The Australian Constitution [aph.gov.au]

From Source...

34. Until the Parliament otherwise provides, the qualifications of a member of the House of Representatives shall be as follows:--

(i. ) He must be of the full age of twenty-one years, and must be an elector entitled to vote at the election of members of the House of Representatives, or a person qualified to become such elector, and must have been for three years at the least a resident within the limits of the Commonwealth as existing at the time when he was chosen:

(ii. ) He must be a subject of the Queen, either natural-born or for at least five years naturalised under a law of the United Kingdom, or of a Colony which has become or becomes a State, or of the Commonwealth, or of a State.

Personal Disclosure: Back using the old school terms she [and I] being left of center would result in name calling directed her way such as "A Red under the Bed!"... which again is ironic as she is a Redhead!!!
