Are you prepared for NOTHING?

I have prepared for nothing by doing just that.

Nothing.

I don't have a "bugout" bag/kit.

I don't have a place to go.

I have not buried gold in my backyard.

I have decided after long contemplation to live for today and not worry about sometime down the road that may or may not happen.

I do look both ways twice before crossing the road though.

I haven't been a member of ATS very long (although I was reading stuff on it before I became a member) but lately it is hard to find good threads to read. I want to read about conspiracies, mysteries, something to get my teeth into, not doom and gloom.

I wish there was a way of hiding all the doomsday threads from the list so it would be easier for us to find the good stuff

I agree completely,i used to look at the doom threads alot but got fed up with a new 1 coming up every other day,i try to avoid them if possible.
i love the mystery,conspiracy fact finding part of ATS,makes my day to see a thread about aliens,bases on the moon or new info about JFK or something.

Whatever happens in 2012 happens,i'm not going to worry about it to much.making predictions on ATS can be a bad thing because people never forget names who make them,when it doesn't happen you have to come back & explain yourself

the end of the world as we know it will cause lots of death and destruction. it is because life will become very unpredictable and technology will increase at an alarming rate that a good majority will not be able to understand. Its called the technological singularity, and whether that happens in 2012 or 100 years is irrelevant, because it will. You will not be given the privilege to predict such a date because rest assured it will smack you upside the head.

Will you chase David Wilcock, web bot guys, and timewave zero people through the streets with sticks now that you have invested tens of thousands of dollars into survival gear and dehydrated foods for nothing? I personally know many people that are so emotionally invested into this EOTWAWKI scenario that i seriously fear for them if nothing happens.

I'm genuinely curious.

Actually, many people do want these events to happen. Will they? who knows.

All I know is alot of people do want the world to end.. I sort of do.

A world where the largest industry is, drum roll please, THE SEX AND PORN INDUSTRY. (Fact)

The porn industry is larger than every pro sports league COMBINED.

A world where billions don't have clean water...

And hundreds of MILLIONS starve every year, probably more.

I'm 15 and have been studying this for 4 years...
I'm getting looked at by 4 D1 colleges for football.
I have tons of friends.
I live a great life..

Well I'll be bummed but something will happen before I die!

Well, I hope nothing happens honestly, I have a 2 year old little girl that I love to pieces and wouldnt want to see get hurt........ But in the event something happens and I can run from it my family and I have a plan for anything really... not just 2012 , to go to our cabin in north florida under the Georgia line to figure out our next move, we have about less then a years food supply and maybe 3 months of water.. And my fiance's brothers and father are loaded with all kinds of guns( They like to go hunting so they have all kinds) So if there is any kind of event we are all going to the cabin to figure out what to do next. I personally know that I can die in a car crash coming home or going to work...so Im not bogged down by the date...but something inside tells me there is alot going on in the world and has been since 9/11 but here recently since about 2007 for my family... that something is going to happen, I just dont know what... So I watch the news everyday, I read the newspaper (Always have) I check the internet when Im bored at night surfing... just so that I am in the know of whats going on around me... But IF nothing was to happen Dec 21 2012 I would call off of work and lay in bed all day enjoying my peace and quit

This is a sort of denial post from the responses I've read.

It is happening! All around you, in some fashion everyone is being swept up in the makings of a New Age of Man.

I can only now look back to my past and see how each and every step was preparing for this ending. I never fit into the world, not even when I was two! I grew deathly ill if I was on the wrong path and I found myself moved from one end of the world to the other. The number of careers seems to coincide with how many times I have moved in my life.

Only now I can see the path; animal husbandry, botany, medical, metallurgy, construction and fabrication, artist, cook, farmer. I am not only amazed but overwhelmed at the future and where we are all headed.

I accepted long ago that we are all exactly where we need to be at any given moment. Spirit moves us and moves all around us if we take the time to open through our heart.

I know the kind of pain that people draw to themselves. When the shtf they will manifest fear and it will escalate and envelope society. It is all tied to money and that is where the plug resides, once it is pulled then we will all left to our own manifesting!

As for dates and predictions, it is a lovely feeling when things do not turn tragic and the day just moves past us.

I can admit to some pretty anxious moments here at ATS that are not on the 'predictive 2012' level but more the 'NWO' area. For instance the video that was posted of a radio broadcast of a woman who had eyewitness testimony of vials of vaccines to be rushed across the Country. I was pretty shook-up over that one. This was when Baxter sent out live ampules to several foreign nations, then was made public. The plastic casket liners freaked me out really bad! I know this new swine flu was manufactured purposely; that's super scary! (odd that these thoughts are far in my mind at this point) I would have thought every child in North America would have been forcibly injected by now.

I am shocked there isn't a Draft yet.

So as for 2012 on the Maya level or the Apocalypse of the Middle East I am comforted to know that these things are in Spirit's hands and not Man's. Imagine a safe journey and a blessed journey and it will become the path.

I am currently looking forward to the Webbot's "12 long nights" for the Obama Administration. This has my interest peeked. This would be Aug 1-12 I certainly do hope it is not because Michelle Obama and the kids are going to vacation soon at the Gulf to prove a point! Yikes! I hope they stay out of the water.

Nothing out of the ordinary will happen. Typical world events will be the norm such as natural disasters, i.e. earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, and man-made disasters, i.e. famine, wars, economic fluctuations, and pollution.

Totally agree, i cant stand doomsday goers they tend to have nothing going on in their lives and nothing to look forward to so make up catastrophic fantasies in their minds to keep them going. What scares me more is that some of these people on here claim to be married with children (although it's more than likely lies).

WE do live in a world of uncertainty
The doomsday scenario is at best a 50/50 possibility and knowing that, it is enough to not want to be the last in line for survival necessities.

Quite simply, an example I use is Katrina,. something no one could have imagined and it is was a complete disaster on all fronts.
no food no water no help for so many.
Our government has proven it's inability to help it's own people in real times of need.
Now, people can try to debate the guesswork of those that have thought to have seen the future all they want. But there are many factors besides the seers view. I for one look at all possibilities and with the evidence that we have witnessed lately,.. Very dramatic weather changes, Multiple wars, an economic roller coaster, and the beginnings of a food shortage crisis. people that don't think it may be a concern ,.. are fools

So in the possibility that nothing happens,.. I will just eat my food,. and ammo has a very long shelf life,. I loose nothing but gain all if something does happen..

It all comes down to knowledge.

You cant Know the future. Therefore, you can not be prepared for something that has not yet happened because nobody has seen it to know about it.(unless you believe in time travelers).

Do I know something bad is going to happen today? Yes I do, because of statistics. BUT, I cannot say WHAT will happen, so I can not tell how 'bad' something may get until it arrives. When that happens, if it is that 'bad' of an event, I wont be prepared for it anyways, chances are I will probably be on ATS typing about how bad we are all getting screwed by our govt.
Thats when the flash comes and at that very second I vanish, without care, or thought, or anything. Just gone.

The point it, even when you think you are prepared, life will throw you a curveball and make you forget everything you have ever learned in the past about 'survival' and such because there will be a NEW WAY of having to deal with such scenerios.

Is there any point in making a bomb shelter?Sure. Just the chances of you actually using it are probably close to slim. Why? Because something else in life will happen that you were never aware of, and no amount of bugging out, or preparing, or anything like that will save you.

The only thing that will save you in the end, is what you know, and how you apply it at that time. You could have invested a lot of money in certain areas of your survival, but failed to worry about other 'outside' forces that are constantly at work. you cant prepare for everything, only what you can control.

Within time, where there is no "time", october 11 2011 is TODAY,get it ? I cracked up reading this,simply because i saw a ridiculously big amount of fear in this post. You think some cabin will help you stay inside your body when the magnetic poles switch soo nenough,and then the physical poles will as wel l2-3 weeks later(science).Scientists have confirmed that the magnetic field of earth will completely flip VERy soon.

What a fantastically important yet simple question, I am prepared for nothingness. I am already getting excited at the prospect of writing my “I told you so” thread and planning it in my head. There are quite allot of people on ATS who are going to look very stupid and will have quite a bit of explaining to do.
