Flamingswan, this is South Africa. We got our first "ghost busters" about 2 years ago. I agree that it might have been a demon. Just a correction: This happened 20years ago. I wasn't 16, I was about 21. I should realy get my dates and ages right before I post.

No problem, I still believe that if it is possible you should get a team or a paranormal expert to access the situation. Good luck my friend

Your welcome. Also while I was trekking through the Ozarks(in Arkansas), my group and I came across a random graveyard in the middle of the woods(we had hiked for about eight miles so far. The tombstone had confederate flag on it. There were four of them laid out to form a square. In the center was one that was like a giant stone slab that was starting to come out of place. Then by a tree there was a wood cross that was made. I took pictures of it. In one of them the lighting is very eerie. Colors seem different than they were. They're at my apartment which im not at presently. But once I get back, I could post em for you to look at seeing how the civil war intrigues us both. theyre interesting none the less.

At the age of 19, I think, I had a visit from a demon. At the time I just felt it was the devil himself. In my bedroom at my parents house. I just switched the light off, had a switch from the light, down the wall to the bed, when I "saw" this thing néxt to my bed. If the lights were off that room went black. There was nothing, or maybe he was so black that I could not see. I could tell the hight, where his eyes were, and I felt the absolute hate. I knew he was looking straight at me. I was só scared. I grabbed the covers, pulled it over my head and started to pray. Only then it left. As I'm writing this I get goosebumbs, that was the scariest thing that happened to me. I think because he was so close to me and between me and the door!

I think you need to get an investigative team in there if possible. Especially if the sightings have continued to go on. Have there been more sightings?

I would like to go there and ask the people who lives there now if they have had any problems. I might be able to get our one and only paranormal investigating team to ask the owners if they have problems. I'll get the adress from my sis tomorrow. The investigating team is somewhere on a bookmark. My sisters son was about 3 or 4 when he told my sister that someone touched his shoulder, after she saw him, quickly looking behind him.

There's quite a list of paranormal experiences I have had, many are posted here in this forum. but there are some I have not posted yet. I guess I can share a couple here.

1.) When I lived in a Philadelphia town home, this was around february 2003, we had been told by our neighbor, well at least I had been told that they have seen someone looking out of the top floor window when it sat empty all those months when it was up for rent. This neighbor lived in another townhome not attached to ours, so there were windows facing his yard. The first wierd part about this is that my neighbor was a man who worked for a distributer for our store, which was in conshohocken, PA, that is weirdness in itself, being that these people could basically be from any place in Philly and the surrounding area, even as far as jersey, and I never asked where he lived. Which is why this is really, really astronomically unlikely to end up right next door. Anyway so him and his wife both said they seen someone at the window and stuff when it sat empty. Well of course I said maybe they were showing the house and the people looked out. But he said no it was someties at like nine & ten at night. Of course I scoffed it off, and I am not a sceptic, but I didn't want to beleive it was haunted. You know for $1200 / month it'd be nice to think it was perfect. Well anyway I found out when I took my first shower there. At first I thought it was a crap water heater because I'd set the water to full hot (I like my showers HOT) (A very important point here), and as soon as it got to being hot enough I'd get in and it would turn like instanly ice freaking cold, like uuuuuuughhhhhhh I would jump out and yelled "Go check the damn pilot on the water heater!!!!" to my BF who did and said I was nuts and really thought so too because it was fine, it was a gas heater that's why it needed the pilot light to be lit. Anyway, nobody else had that problem just me!!!! I found out from the same neighbor that the woman who lived there was dead and figured it must be her playing these games with me! So I asked for her name. The neighbor said her name was Evelyn. So next time it happened I yelled "Evelyn, I am a WITCH if you want to stay here, LEAVE MY WATER ALONE OR I WILL VANQUISH YOU!" Well the water immediately went hot again and she never messed with my water again. I kinda feel bad that I was so biligerent, but I take my water temp very seriously!!!!

2.) This is one that happened to me in a house when I was a kid about oh 12 to sixteen it happened/ re-occurred nightly. There was a curve that wasup past m house and it was pretty sharp and there had been more than a few accidents at this curve. Well there had even been one right when I lived there, but there was never any mention of anyone dying there however, nightly I would see a car race past my house, our motion lights would go on after it passed, no other cars passing ever set the light off, anyway the car would be approaching the curve and in that instant just before the curve, it vanished into thin air. It was a black sports type of car and always mved to fast to identify make or model. Anyway that recurred all those years while I was on the bottom floor I finally got sick of it and moved to a bedroom on the top floor.

3.) One night late at ngiht I was playing on POGO.com (this was also at the townhome in Philly). Anyway I was just about to type hello in the chat box, but when I looked it had something already in the chat bar "m here" exactly that nothing else. Just exactly how I typed it ehre. And you had to actually click in the box to chat which I had not done I was just playing the game only using a mouse never hit any keyboard keys at all.

And.... The clincher....

4.) In the same Philly townhome I used a deck of thoth tarot, my deck was always near me, however, I managed to have a card "go missing" The card was the five of wands, This is a Death card. At least when I read, this card means Death... Anyway it went missing and we searched everywhere for it. Couldn't find it and I had the cards always together in a satchel and always counted them after using them before I put them away, we had used them just the night before and I know I had all of them when I put them back. The next day my stepdaughter wanted a reading, I pulled out the cards and counted them as I always do this to double check that I have them all, one was definately missing and the card was most definately the five of wands. I know I could have miscounted but we looked near the only two places we had the cards the night before, and that was the living room and dining room. I read them in the dining room put them away in the living room and set them next to the couch on the nightstand, but besides that we searched every single crevice of that house....every frikking one... Plus the deck several times... well skiop ahead to June 2005 and one friend of mine has a tragedy, her daughter 15 was killed...so For the hell of it me and my stepdaughter go to where I had put away the thoth deck since I couldn't use them with that card missing they were set into their satchel and put in dreser drawers in the basement...I was a little freaked out by the whole event hence, the putting them so far away from me. Anyway, we count the whole deck the card is now back in the deck!!!! Yeah go ahead say we missed that card with checking the whole house and the deck several times I will tell you, IT WAS NOT THERE!!!!!! But, now it was back like "hey, hi, how ya doing?" I got rid of that deck needless to say. That's my story and I am sticking to it!!!!

wow...when I read this, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I live in a pretty small town, and when I was about sixteen, I used to sneak out of my window at night. My best friend would pick me up in his truck, and we would either just drive around, or park somewhere and smoke cigarettes and talk.

We would sit in cemetaries, the forest near the lake, cornfields, anywhere. We would just talk until we got tired. One night, we parked by the local movie theater. It was a school night and well past 1 a.m., so the place was long closed, the whole area deserted. We parked behind it, and were just sitting and chatting in the pitch black on a bench on the side of the building. The only thing we could see was the lights from our cigarettes. All of the sudden, we heard this god-awful shriek, like the one you described! It wasn't human, but didnt sound like an animal. It was unlike anything I had ever heard. We heard the smacking of feet on pavement, as if something was running as fast as it could towards us. I remember the moment as clearly as if it happened five minutes ago.

For a split-second, we looked at each other with our mouths open and our eyes wide, and we just jumped up and took off running back towards his truck. I remember thinking "thanks alot #$#hole, leave me behind!" since I am a lot shorter and run slower than him, (so much for chivalry, eh?) We jumped in the cab and took off. The manual roll-down windows were already down, and we fumbled to roll them up. As we were speeding off, something smacked his windshield. We heard a loud "crack!" but didn't see anything. The wierdest thing was, there was actually a crack on his windshield that hadnt been there before. No other cars, no trees, no wind, nothing that could have hit his windshield! Not the wierdest thing I have experienced, but definitely freaky!

I think sharing headspace qualifies as a paranormal event, it is a novel way of gaining knowledge, skill, talent, et cetera ad infintum.

What strange occurrences. I thought the first was particularly errie... But I also I never understood how some people are more susceptible to the paranormal while others go throughout life never experiencing any of it... It seems you are very inclined to these occurrences.

Two rather interesting ones for you.

About a year or two after I joined the Army in either 2002 or 03 - I was on leave at my parents' house and I was asleep. I don't know if you know how sometimes you can wake up and your eyes are still closed? Well, that happened and while my eyes were closed, I got this severe feeling of dread or impending doom. I rolled over a bit and opened my eyes. About a foot or two above me I saw the figure of a pale bluish woman cut off at the torso looking down at me with her arms in front of her in a praying mantis style position. As soon as I saw her, she flew toward me rapidly and the feeling went away. A few moment after that, I rolled back over and went back to sleep. Think it may have been a failed banshee attack.

The second one that stands out in my mind happened while I was stationed in Korea in 2009. Some people I worked with and I drove down to Yongsan to pick up this guy we knew. It was probably either 2100 or 2200 and we were pulling into this large parking lot that preceded the building we were going to. Both the driver and I saw the black outline of a person near a lit light post off to the side of the parking lot. So, the driver turned that way and we started toward the 'person', thinking it was our friend. A few moments after we turned in that direction, the figure moved toward the pole and literally vanished. There were no bushes or anything near the pole and about five feet behind the pole was a 12 foot chain link fence. That was rather creepy.

There are literally so many that I could fill up a book on the subject but these two I feel are the most interesting for your intents and purposes.

Cheers!

Those are pretty eerie my friend, I'm sure even an ARMY man such as yourself must have been shaken by these events, I know I would have been... You said you were on leave at your parents home when the woman appeared to you. Do you have any idea why she appeared to you there... of all places? Is there any special connection to your parents home and the paranormal? Maybe other incidents?

My whole family for several generations have had experiences that would now be known as paranormal, but that they always credited to God. Even as a small child, I had experiences, then my children had them, and now my grandchildren.

Here is one from two of my aunts, then one of mine.

During WWII, they were living in a rural area in Oklahoma (with eight kids in the family) and two of them would go out to a farm for milk and eggs every morning. This one morning, these two girls were walking down the road like always, but both were hit with a sense of doom simultaneously, and without saying a word, they each turned around, and they saw a blood-red silhouette of a ship, right there in the sky. They each could even see sailors walking about on the deck. Then, it just disappeared. Two days later, a nearby family got a telegram that their son had been on a ship that had been torpedoed by a U-boat, two days previous, and all aboard were lost.

One time, my wife and I were looking at houses, and the real estate lady took us to a house that was quite a bit larger than the rest of the houses we were looking at. She assurred us, however, that it had been empty for a while and was priced to move. It turned out to be a large, very attractive house. When I immediately protested that it would cost too much, the lady told me the price, but added that a much lower offer would likely be accepted. Everything seemed fine until we went into a library on the second floor. As soon as I physically stepped into the room, I had a vision of the room with blood pooled on the floor, and splattered all over the walls, and even on the ceiling. I instantly felt sick to my stomach. I must have looked funny because both women asked me if I was okay. I looked at the lady and asked her to tell me about the murders that had occurred there. She went white, because she knew that I was military and had just arrived to the area, so I could not know what had happened. About six years before, a teenager on drugs killed and slashed the grandparents he had been living with, and had done so in that very room!
