World's rich got richer amid '09 recession: report

NEW YORK (Reuters) – The rich grew richer last year, even as the world endured the worst recession in decades. A stock market rebound helped the world's ranks of millionaires climb 17 percent to 10 million, while their collective wealth surged 19 percent to $39 trillion, nearly recouping losses from the financial crisis, according to the latest Merrill Lynch-Capgemini world wealth report.

I hope this doesn't surprise anyone. As the poor get poorer, the rich get richer. I think this is insane. People lost their life savings, their homes, their jobs, and their opportunities, but the rich just shake it off and keep getting wealthier. What has to happen for the People to realize that this is unbridled fascism and greed?

Does it even really matter anymore?

We are just the peasants chattering behind closed doors, drafting up thoughts that will never come to fruition. Fighting for a cause just, but in the end manipulated.

Every time we get back up they kick as right back down. Every time we ask for soup they give us grass.

We are nothing more than dirty stinking slave peasants who continue to follow the herd. They lie to us and tell us that we should turn to communism to rid ourselves of the elite when they will only crawl in and hijack the movement. They lie to us and tell us that we should turn to Libertarianism to rid ourselves of the elite when they will only crawl in and hijack the movement.

These people are like viruses, they multiply and they hide, lurking and waiting for a time when we are weak and they strike. Sucking every drop of our blood and energy until we are too weak to do anything but follow blindly and pray for the best.

So we go peacefully to church, work and to the store acting like tomorrow will be better when we only wake up to know we have gotten worse.

My birthday happens to fall on July 14, or Bastille Day, and that's always served as a reminder to me of just what can happen when the scales slowly tip too far to one side... The stability often suffers forcing the scales to right themselves with a quick and violent action.

Many rich people deserve their fortunes because they have worked hard or have that special something to make it. I'm afraid not everyone can be equal.

Socialism is just a quick-fix for individuals with no ambition and no spark.

Many peoples fortunes, (though not all) are built on behaviors that would be considered criminal if the average person tried them. Many of them began making their fortunes before we had laws in place to prevent using those methods, and then once rich, they enacted laws to ensure no one else could do what they did.

That "special something" is ruthlessness, and often, violence and lawlessness. Very few inventors or other people who do honestly have that "special something" profit to that degree from their own specialness. Sure, if you can go in and take something from someone else, or slaughter them for the resource, and then enact laws and enforce them so no one else can ever do the same to you, thats special all right. But lets not glorify it, or pretend for a minute you want everyone acting that way. Because you dont. Society and all wealth is utterly and completely dependent upon those people who lack that "special something." If everyone had those characteristics there would be brutal utter chaos, everywhere all the time.

So dont bash the "unmotivated." Thats not true, for one thing, and our society is completely dependent upon the cooperative and moderate many, not upon the avaricious and violent few.

Some were born rich.
Some of them have that special something that causes inflation for the peasants, the relentless onslaught of ever increasing prices (that rise faster than pay increases) caused by the rich money manipulators, that causes us, the peasants to get poorer each year as we cut back more and more while the rich (money masters and manipulators)suck more blood from us
Now that's something special.
It takes money to make money, and folks have less of it, so they borrow it and become victims of usery.
We get milked hard, when and if my house is paid off I could have bought three, if I fail to make payments, I lose it all, even if it's 3/4 paid off. The banks gets assets.

The peasants are here for the milking, powerless peasants with little money are actually cash cows, we are the losers that make these cats fat.

Hey, we are not all the same, some of us need some help, I don't, but at times I did.
Have you ever needed help outside of yourself in society?
It's a social thing to help, that's socialism.

What if their money was worthless one day? They would probably need some help coping with that, but hey, that's socialism, screw you pal. Where were you when I needed help.
