Hello from Texas:
I'm a Usual Suspect in this kinder gentler world regarding UFOs, USOs, ancient aliens, Bible codes, crypto-theology, crypto-archeology, egyptian hieroglyphs, and generally trying to figure out the real history of this planet and humanity. I've been reading and studying for 40 years
and no topic is off-limits in my quest to understand the pathways and links of a truth that goes beyond the normal daily hype. I'm not convinced that at this level we can ever truly know the whole truth with a Capital T, but I'm certainly too stubborn to not try, and I don't quit since knowledge is the spice of life - especially to me now at my age

I was born in Roswell, New Mexico in the same single story wooden hospital that was there in July 1947. My interests come naturally since I was raised on or near Walker AFB for 10 years. As a teen I learned of the events that occurred, so my crypto-interests developed early and grew from there
.

So, yes I'm probably "old school" to most members - literally speaking, but I always hope to learn and grow as a student. Advancing into a forum such as this is an opportunity for me. In turn, maybe I can offer information to others such as book authors, or titles, to help those interested in reading more on a topic. I don't have much, but I have a library and some old books that are hard to find these days.

I've learned to not trust much in this world (like governments and news media), but I trust I can stick my neck out a little after all these years and will be welcomed into this community of like-minded (or not) people
.

I'm excited at the prospect of exchanging ideas, concepts, and clues so perhaps something substantial, or at least more substantial than the daily sludge, can be derived that mutually helps many others at the same time. If I lack a whimsical "the hell with it" humor, I hope to make up for it with a healthy if somewhat synical wit. I hope I have something to offer.

Roswell54,
Welcome to the hub! You wrote a well articulated intro, and what a great origin story having grown up in Roswell. I look forward to your input as having had "feet on the ground."

Thank you Woody. I have a lot to learn with both style and navigation in this virtual universe.

I'm of course interested in the Atlantean model which represents the earlier, but officially denied, prior civilization that dominated the world prior to the end of the last ice-age, and want to read your book - if I understand your signature correctly. When a person ties megalithic architecture, cyclopian stone work, the technological realities of the ancient world, and the obvious pryamid connections across the globe the clues begin to roll up into an obvious conclusion of pre-existing civilizations that can be summarized by the Cycle of Civilizations on this planet. What's being sold as history is no more than a collection of poorly thought out guesses that satisfies those that don't want to know much more than how to make their next dollar or pound at the expense of their neighbor - excuse the economic slant to it, but either politics or economics has a tendency to color the general landscape today to the detriment of "open mindfulness."

I'm looking forward to getting into some serious discussions with you regarding myths, magic, crypto-history, the future, the past, and if you're willing crypto-theology

Thank you for the welcome Shadowfoot. At this point I don't know what your interests (passions) are other than the forest, plants, nature, and being in Oregon, if I'm reading your post correctly. In response to your comment, yes, I literally had my feet on the ground for 10 years in the town of Roswell, and it was a wonderful place for a child to grow up (in those days), when crime was low, the work ethic was strong, and the cold war was "hot." I lived both on and off the AFB and could identify military aircraft by both sight and sound only.

As a child there was never anything mentioned about the incident, so as a teenager it was a pleasant surprise. The locals did not talk about the incident for fear of the government based on their prior experiences when the military counterintelligence agents conducted a successful sting operation to recover all the artifacts floating between families of the sheriff and fire departments. The disclosure by the military in the Roswell newspaper on July 8, 1947, and the tesimony of the citizens that experienced that "sting" should be strong enough evidence to make the hardest minds at least question what really happened there.

The crash was actually two craft, not one, and it probably occurred the night of July 3, 1947 during a typical southwest thunderstorm. The likely cause of the crashes was lightning, not the military's defense, which was of course nothing viable against such technology. If you haven't already read it, I highly recommend Ivan T. Sanderson's book "invisible residences," if you want to learn more about UFOs because the key to UFOs is USOs and their underwater bases. And then the discussion moves to Nibiru and the 12th Planet by Z. Sitchin. I'll be happy to waffle on as much as you like, but I'll need to know more about your interests, like and dislikes. Thanks again for the classy welcome.

I knew you were my kind of member ... look forward to it.

If you click-on the 'Atlantean' link you can read what I've uploaded so far for free (I'm serializing it);

theatlanteananalysis.webeden.co.uk...

My original writings on the subject were started over a decade ago ... so I am having to make a few 'add-ins' where some of the things I'd mentioned have actually come to light.

Thank you Snowspirit. I have a co-worker that was born/raised in Ontario and just left for home on a summer vacation with his family. He's bringing me back some data on the real estate prices there. He's about an hour and one half outside Ontario. I would love to move a trailer up there for the summer months and escape the Texas heat. Everything I've learned about Canada and Canadians tells me I should live there full time, but the snow and ice keeps me from being too serious about it. I love the beer mug icon you have posted. Where do I acquire things like that?

Tell me - What's your favorite topic, mystery, or question? What does your mind/body/spirit care about more than beer, sex, or staying warm in January? That might be asking a lot
, but we can discuss that over time - okay? looking forward to it.

The cheaper housing prices in Canada are located northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan, but yeah -40 in the winters
Lots of really good fishing lakes though. I am all over these boards, anything conspiracy related or paranormal. My husband is a long haul truck driver, so I am left with my dogs, and the internet

Well Roswell54, I guess I need to provide some background then. I grew up in Ohio, very near the Great Serpentine Mound. My afterschool "sitter" was a professor of Archeology working betwixt the Mayans and the Mound Builders, having theories regarding a connection between the two( we do know today they share the un traceable "x" DNA. Be that as it may, Proffesor Grubb instigated quite a facination in me for ancient history and not accepting the commonly held beliefs in lieu of personal research.

Through my youth I was exposed to Atlantis via good ol Leonard Nemoy's In Search Of and that coupled with my previous exposure to the Mayans etc.. lead to the proverbial match touching the powder keg and lo' all these years later I am an avid researcher of all things Altlantean.

I spent my years between 20-30 traveling the world, doing whatever work I could and adventuring. I lived in Athens, Greece for near a year exploring many of the Islands...one in particular...Paros I had my own personal experience with "other worldly spirits, or beings." That happened in August of 1990 and ever since my life has been a roller coaster of learning experiences, epipheny and the like. I left Greece and over the next 7 years I travelled and lived in Italy, The Seychelles, Japan, Australia and more.

I studied martial arts throughout my life and as I began to delve deeper into the philosophies that precurse the "art" I became enamored by Taoist thought and tradition. That led to me studying Oriental medicine, at first informally and later formally. I studied Thai, Japanese and Chinese Systems, prefering classical to "traditional" as the classical approach worked more in line with the philosophical tenants of Taoism.

After many many moves all over the United States ..I find myself in Oregon, in the foothills of Mt.Hood where I head up purchasing/Sourcing and Production for a larger Herb and Vitamin company.

I would like very much to share ideas I have in regards the Phoenecians, Minoans and others like the Philistines and Thracians whom I suspect as last vestiges of atlantean decendants or at least heirs to some atlantean philosophy. I have deleved deaaply into the majority of occult works as well...from Theosophy, Anthroposophy, Lucis Trust, BOTA, AMORC, and so on ad nauseum.

My main focus for writing threads for ATS is survival medicine and food in the natural world. I am presently working on a photographic and video essay on how to find (by reading topography) various plants for food and medicine. Which to use for making thread and fishing line and which to use for highly anti oxidant food and of course others for medicine. I am discussing and modeling harvesting techniques, preparations and crafting in a step by step format in order to help people gain a familiarity with plants and less apprehension in using them responsibly.

I'm fasinated by how different lives move in different but seemingly parallel paths of exposure, interest, studies, and attitudes. That's why I'm going to enjoy this board after all. Your unique life's gifts show a pattern and a direction that I can't help but think reflects your past lives and the + karma you generated. Our only simililar life experience is the studying of Taoism, but like you I moved many times and experienced many things in my search of what matters most to me and the direction my soul must take. These kind of lives and experiences are very common in these interesting days.

There is a website "www.realhistoryww.com" you would enjoy that explores the realities of the ancient Mediterranean world and how most of those civilizations were in fact of the black race, and how history has conveniently covered up that reality, since that goes against the current program of acceptable belief systems.

My focus, which took me many years to realize through all the data, books, and ideas, is pure concentrated theology stripped of cultural bias, orthodox dogma, political power, or economic control, which then becomes an interesting intellectual path (at least for me)

Why is it important to me? That's just who I am. It took me 40 years to get comfortable with this planet, this physical/spiritual model (situation), and with myself, and after the long strange trip I'm beginning to find some solid answers that make sense (to me).

My "end game" or eureka answers are finally coming forth from ancient Egypt before the flood (end of the last ice age), which is another prime example of another misguided history or pseudo-science called Egyptology. Of course the real Egyptian history reveals a jump-started colony or refugue from what we commonly call Atlantus, where their heiroglyphs were already 100% formed in the first dynesty, not roughly formed and slowly developed over time. Geologists have confirmed the true age of the Sphynx now, but Egyptology clings to it's house of cards to keep the jobs and income flowing.

Well, it's back to work - let's continue this. I'm completely ignorant when it comes to plants and natural medicines. I guess I'm a specialist and not a generalist, and therefore mostly ignorant about most things.
Take Care

I'm looking forward to getting to Canada as soon as possible - weather permitting. When Texas is completely taken over by fools (which has already happened, but I'm in denial),
I'll move to Canada. Actually, I'm waiting for a minor axis shift to make it a little warmer, but listening to the 2012 group that might be happening rather soon anyway.

It sounds like you're looking for the next good conspiracy or paranormal story for entertainment, so what part of this board is the best reading for all that?

I tend to monitor the ATS firehoses from the bottom to top, to get the newest stuff. And then the MyATS page.

I have also been wondering about the axis shift, but which way will it go? Will we be overtop of the Yellowstone outlet - wonder how that works
, or in the North Pole?
Summers are beautiful up here - northern Saskatchewan, winters you need to have winter wear appropriate for the province. This one I think is the coldest, and the least amount of people, which is great for driving, or if you're looking for work. Good hunting and fishing if not. Most people have 4 wheel drive trucks, and when it is the coldest, the roads are the best, they put a bit of dirt on the snow, no slipping. Snowmobile trails throughout the whole province also.
Research each province individually, they all have different things to offer, and all with their different problems. I like this one, it has the lowest cost of living, and the least amount of people.

Let's see if I learned anything - here goes. Howdy from Texas :HOW: and cheers  I previewed it, but it didn't confirm proper writting. I guess I'll only find out after submitting it.

I think the theory is the axis will shift away from us in North America or go south towards Siberia which will bring the equator north towards Texas. I'll be heading north in my 4x4 with trailer by then anyway. If I'm wrong and the axis moves the towards Texas, then it will be cooler here anyway. keep one bag packed just in case

The idea of catching large unpolluted fish from cold lakes up there makes me hungry.

How does a person upgrade their profile so that they can display an image like you do? I appreciate you're time helping me.
Take it easy!

Under "member tools" go to my pictures, upload a couple of pics and possible background images (my background is tiled), then click on the uploaded pic you want, set as avatar, and it should say somewhere in the next page avatar guidelines, and there should be a tutorial to watch. I had a lot of grief with this, some people it just works for , and others it gives a hard time. Watch the tutorial a couple of times, check both your profile page and your intro post, if they don't both come up with the avatar, watch the tutorial again.
. for the icons, BBcode must be on. Good luck ....

Roswell54,
Fantastic website...thank you very much I look forward to pouring over this during my research!

I have a similiar bent in regards "Egyptology." I borrow somewhat guardedly( is that a word Skeptically seemes to strong) from Sitchens translations. As intriguing as the alien influx /DNA modification etc...is to me...I try to answer the questions that could be verifiable from our earthly plane, in regards matters pertaining to our immediate understanding of our ancient origin.

What I find most interesting is the writings attributing the structures in the Giza plateau as being Sumerian in contsruction and via the "Gods" setting up shop in South America...those structures as well...to this end the mystery of the Fuentes Bowl, as well as the Olmec negroid warrior busts littering south central America tend to lend credence to the theory. I definitevely agree with the Likes of Hancock in regards these megalithic sites being at least 11000 years old, predating the end of the Ice Age.

As a youth I intuited that if the Giza pyramids were following the starmap, using Orions belt as the existing axis point in the celestial diarama, and given sciences discovery that the Sahara was once vegetated and that the nile had run east to west, then indeed there is a strong chance that pyramids and other symbolic structures might surely lay still buried following the scale modeling of the other constellations appearing on either side of Orion.

In regards the plants...my draw to herbal medicine was directly correlated to my studies of ancient cultures. My passion evolved as I learned that by using a subjective/empirical paradigm (that put forth by Taoist 5 element theory is an example) I was better able to feel, and think in the terms of ancient cultures, subdueing my modern pre-concieved views and allowing for processing of information in its appropriate idiom. This same practice has served me admirably as I have swapped systems from Oriental, to Mid Eastern, Western European, Eastern European, Gypsy, Amish, Thomsonian etc...each time adopting the modus operandi of each cultures paradigm allowing for proper emperical values and an appropriate field for observation and response.

Soon enough I should begin my first thread in regards plant medicine, i will keep you posted.
