Trusting the media and believing what

Topic started on 13-6-2004 @ 12:46 AM by cultureshock

they tell you. Do you? I'm not sure if its politically correct to name names, but I'm wondering. There's a few sites I check daily, not to many far left or right or alternative that I can say I trust, but then again I take everything on the AP news wire with a grain of salt, I tend to put an opposite spin on everything I read, just to see the other teams mentality and beliefs.

You should never believe what they tell you. There's truths to every story, normally, but it's best to take what you read from one, compare it to others, and come to your own conclusion. Ignore their spin on it if you can and get there yourself.

I fine better to analyze the media rather than trust them, and to tell the truth, the news will cover stories but it takes sometime to really get to the bottom of what the real news are.

I guess news media in this country have to follow so much bureaucracy that it tends to be kind of slow.
