Thank you for slamming my barren imagination please enlighten us with your mind blowing ideas on the subject instead of trolling.

Some alternative explanations:

1. Gaia: Gaia is trying to communicate with Us/Someone/Something
2. Nature Spirits (for example plant vitae)
3. Collective consciousness expressing itself (has anyone ever corelated appearances to general news?)
4. Someone with a psychic talent (possibly latently expressing itself)
5. Interdimensional beings
6. An energy form of life/sentience making us aware of its existence (either alien or terran)
7. God(s)
8. They could be ritual spaces/seals or the results of an occult ritual (granted, still manmade, but a far cry from some dudes with rope and boards)
9. Messages from the Ancestors (spirits are not man )
