I haven't prayed formally for a while, but I will remind myself again with this. I hope it helps you in your time of need.

God,
grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

There are absolutely no words that can truly describe how comforted, happy and optimistic all of you have made me.

Seeing people from all walks of life from all across our planet coming together for just one person no one even knows is absolutely incredible.

I bowed my head and joined in prayer as I read the words of Jean Paul Zodeaux's post.

The Lords will be done. Amen

As all Our lights shine, in unison, Love reigns.
Love overcomes all.
I pray that in these trying moments,
You find truth, and some comfort,
for You, your family, and your Grandmother.

We re all one,

Peace , light and love, be with you both..and all of us.

Amen

Yes I'm in this too.
I can only ask that his will be done where your Grand mother is concerned.
You have to be prepared for whatever. Just remember
to have faith in him no matter the outcome.
Of course I know what you want.
She is in my prayers.
Did you give her first name anywhere yet?

I find visualisation exercises work particularly well for me. I will concentrate on the following:

I wish for Misoir's grandmother to be reminded of the strength innately within herself to survive and flourish through this ordeal, not only allowing her to successfully achieve a full recovery, but also granting her a renewed energy and zest for her life here on Earth. I wish for her guides to stand close by her, helping her through every moment of her suffering. I pray that only love, light and positivity reach her now in her darkest hour. I know that she will find her strength. Help her; let the light reach into her illness and cleanse the negative.

All the best Misoir

Thank you everyone for saying a prayer for my grandmother.

I promised I would update this thread whenever I got news and I just did.

My grandmother went into cardiac arrest and passed away.

It is the fault of the hospital, they killed her. When she first went into the ER they gave her some drink for some body scan and she aspirated on it. They never told the doctors in the ICU for 4 days and when they found out they tried to save her but it was too late. They kept lying and saying it was in the intestines when it was in the lungs.

Misoir, I am so sorry to hear this news.

I will continue to have your family in my thoughts and prayers for strength during what I know is a difficult time for all of you. May you all be strong enough to be there for each other.

My sincere condolences to you and your family during your time of loss and mourning.

When my mother passed away someone shared this passage with me, and I am in turn sharing this with you so that you may hopefully find some peace in the words as I did.

"You can shed tears that she is gone,
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her only that she is gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back.
Or you can do what she'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.”
