My first thought was that yes, it would be great, a sort of latter day 'Channel Islands plus d-day' tale. But then I thought of Tom Cruise shooting down Mirages as a US Navy pilot on exchange with the FAA and being the best Harrier pilot in the world and the USN warship steaming in to save the hapless HMS Invincible by sinking the Belgrano for it and I thought, er....no.

a good scence out of that film would include the sas testing the stinger missile pffffft slam bye bye mirage and then several years later the us army came to england to demonstrate said missile been cheeky the sas put the test firer in the training group .us army: "This is the stinger missile never used in combat" sas man in a loud voice from the back: "BOLLOCKS"
