Sea Floor Exploding! Where's the BOP?

Watching the live feed, the Top Hat device is now visible and tilted at 120 degrees from the plume.

It is looking more and more like it's going to go any minute now, I'm really hoping that they get the ship detached before it does.

no plumes at all in the feed atm

no leak visible

perhaps they turned the camera or they did something good

who knows

ah well

View 1 is blank at the moment, ROV 2 is really showing what's going on.

Why am i seeing glowing red around the pipes on the pob and what look like flames coming out through the plume? its lit up like a christmas tree! Lighting?

Sure looks like the thing is being heated to the melting point.

I wonder how hot the fluid is coming out of the pipe, and why it's hotter now than it was before?

It appears that they are combing through the wreckage and looking at the positions of the valves... Each time the ROV has a valve come into view, the operator zooms in on a tight shot of the valve.

They just did the same thing on a pressure gauge.

what was that lit thing they just past on the rov 1? Im still trying to get the hang of watching this and what Im seeing

Journalistic integrity is the opposite of reactionary sensationalism.

Don't try to be the FIRST with the news. Try to be the first to get it RIGHT. Or at least comes close.

It's a shame I have to wade through the self-serving, hysterical, completely false claims at ATS to find the gloriously informative nuggits of useful information.

Wow the leak looks a lot worse this morning than it did a few hours ago (3:00am).

Earlier I could easly see the white object to the left (Is that the BOP?), but now after checking it this object is barely visible.

More oil leaking? or Have they moved the camera?

To my uneducated eyes, there seems to be a LOT more gas bubbles coming out this AM. I was watching Neptune R2 last night and there were not as many bubbles - that, I am sure of.

I don't get it... Why is the oil and gas that is coming out from the leak so different...Looking at Neptune ROV-2 it looks like a vulcano is about to erupt (or some undersea monster that's breathing and spewing )and Enterprise ROV-2 looks more like how I would imagine an oil spill must look like (black and plumes). Did I miss the point that these are two different leaks? But even then the question remains; Why do they look so different?

PS; I'm from the Netherlands so be easy on my english please !
