If Columbus never came to America and Britain, France, Spain and other countries didn't come and settle in the Americas? Basically, North America and South America being truly isolated and never settled by other countries. Would you think that if that happened, the world today would be radically different? What do you think that "alternate timeline" world would be like?

A lot more wars due to population pressures in Europe, in any case, European fishermen new 'America' was there, there is some story that the next guy to discover America was rather shocked to be greeted in English by a native American? cannot remember the full details.
