Most of the whole 'America is a British Colony' type arguments are based on misinterpretations of various documents.....

Much of it is debunked here: home.hiwaay.net...

As a British subject (we are "subjects" apparently, not "citizens") I would argue that Britain is actually and American colony. Maybe not by statute but certainly by influence and culture.

Britain is dominated by US corporations, US movies, US Restaurant and Hotel chains and US News.

With the exception of a few conflicts, the UK follows the US lead into battle and the British are as hated in many parts of the world as the Americans. Many countries don't even distinguish between Americans and Brits and refer to us all as "the coalitio" or "the west"

Britain has more in common with the US than it has with her neighbours in Europe.

US influence plays a huge part in British life so the UK could possibly be regarded as the 51st State!

The crown has to keep up appearances you know. Wouldn't want the slaves on plantation America finding out the truth and rising up and throwing off their yoke now would they.,..

We are not a British Colony, and we no longer even recall what indeed is a colony. My company is embroiled in planning the affairs of a nation struggling to emerge from colonial domination right now. It is a political and economic chess game at every level, with allies becoming enemies, and enlisting the aide of enemies, sham 'terror' threats, selling their national soul and history for the right to economically draw from a less powerful nation, and take a western life of ease on the backs of the colony. Three things feature in a colony nation:

1. Trade is constrained and directed through foreign agencies with long term contracts that control the flow of consumer goods, material resources, credit, wealth and currency. Specific focus is made on preventing agri-business, manufacturing or sale of minerals from being undertaken in absence of a healthy agency fee to the colonial power. This is the system that China broke out of in Oct 1949.

2. Partner nations to the colonial power produce durable goods and flood the colony with cheap short-lived daily use items, in oversupply - forcing the deflation of pricing on basic household and electronic goods.

3. Consumables and luxury goods are constrained by the colonial power agencies to alternatively lower and drive up prices in a 200% standard deviation, as a lever which controls the pain of households. If they elect a popular candidate, the colonial power constrains the flow of consumables and increases the pain experienced in obtaining food and consumable basics; then plant agents who pay political trolls to stir unease with the situation.

ie. you can text on your cheap phone, to your cousin that the baby does not have any formula this month and that there are no jobs.

- Foreign Agencies Control Trade
- Product Dumping into Colony Economy
- Demand Constrained Inflation on Consumable Goods

These are the three elements of enslavement and it is an insidious strategy. Right now, our best and our brightest in our oligopolies have surrendered our soul to China, right along these three lines.

So, if we are near to being a colony right now, I would worry more about our relationship with China.

Old King George wasn't fighting the colonials purely for his own sense of keeping the empire running, but needed the tax revenue flowing to pay off the bankers that bankrolled the empire building in the first place.... plus interest of course.

And whaddya know? The bankers won! Sure, it took them longer than they'd have wished, but to those banking dynasties, what's a another hundred years or two to gain global control over everything.

The princes and politicians simply provided the armies to push the control agenda. It makes me laugh when I see threads like this, claiming that the British Monarchy are still the rulers. They, like the modern day elite class are simply the pawns doing the bidding of the bankers. The bankers don't have their own standing armies for conquest of the hold-outs against their Privatised central banking system, our own politicians supply that and the trumped up excuses to "intervene" and impose the rules the bankers want. It's been that way for hundreds of years.

Even in more modern times, both World Wars were instigated by the bankers who bankrolled each side and of course came out richer and with more control than ever. The dumbed down people, fed propaganda by their own governments - installed by the bankers - march off to battle waving their flags thinking they are being "patriotic", which is nothing more than a careful bit of conditioning. The bankers themselves are loyal to no country or flag, just wealth and the control that gives them.

So, the USA is NOT a British colony, but a banker's one, same as nearly every other major country on this planet. Remove the bankers - not the managers of the local high street branches or even the sharp suited players in the big city exchanges, but the banking dynasties like the Rothschilds - and we might start seeing less conflict in the world, and would certainly all be better off.

Sure, the descent of america into what it has now become is nothing to do with the apathy and myopia of multiple generations of americans. Its the queens fault. Its the evil Brits forcing you against your will...

Meanwhile, in reality, the USA took over the UKs position as an imperial power after WW2. We went broke fighting the Nazis. Between sending us the invoice for your help and giving us a smack-down over the 'Suez' issue its pretty obvious who was in charge from then on. Its not the UK.

Threads like these are like a bus driver who's just steered his bus over a cliff, scrambling to the back of the bus and claiming another passenger was driving. It wasn't me ! It wasn't me!

Because your countries holdings are invested overseas. The UK's been giving Billions recently to the Philippines....which bought you all the oil/gas under Scarborough Shoal....that little island between China and the Philippines.

The UK already paid for all that oil/gas. Now to push back China and seize your investment.

The UK/US have invested their Treasuries in other countries....like China....using $$$$ to seize control of those regions. That's why Americans and British are poor......yet own most of the planet. There's only a few people controlling the checkbooks and know where the money is.

America's military vets can't get any help from their Govt.....because they've been using those funds to build 100+ Hospitals in the former Soviet Territory Georgia to buy them off as friends.....shiploads of US money's been going into there......money has to come from somewhere's.....so Americans are poor and homeless so the Empire Builders have funds to play with around the world.
