South Korean children's balloons mistaken for parachuting North Koreans

www .telegraph.co.uk

Amid growing military tensions between the North and South, Seoul mobilised troops and police early on Thursday after a resident of Ansan, 22 miles south-west of the South Korean capital, reported that 40 to 50 flying objects resembling parachutes had fallen on a mountain the previous night.

Phew and... relax. These guys must be on a razors edge. You got to appreciate the comic value of this though. Of course I would be laughing out the other side of my face if things had taken a different turn.

A pretty small force to drop in hardly enough for any kind of invasion. Although there are tales of North Korean crack commandos sneaking in to the South in small numbers and wreaking havoc. Just thought I'd bring this to the attention of ATS!

Paranoia strikes deep.
Into your lives it will creep.

I guess the poor ole things have reason to be paranoid.
They've divorced themselves from the world.

You and I, and a little toy shop
Buy a bag of balloons with the money we've got
Set them free at the break of dawn
'Til one by one, they were gone

Back at base, bugs in the software
Flash the message, "Some thing's out there"
Floating in the summer sky
Ninety-nine red balloons go by

Ninety-nine red balloons
Floating in the summer sky
Panic lads, it's a red alert
There's something here from somewhere else

The war machine springs to life
Opens up one eager eye
Focusing it on the sky
Ninety-nine red balloons go by

Ninety-nine Decision Street
Ninety-nine ministers meet
To worry, worry, super-scurry
Call the troops out in a hurry

This is what we've waiting for
This is it boys, this is war
The President is on the line
As ninety-nine red balloons go by

Ninety-nine knights of the air
Riding super high-tech jet fighters
Everyone's a super hero
Everyone's a Captain Kirk

With orders to identify, to clarify and classify
Scrambling in the summer sky
As ninety-nine red balloons go by
Ninety-nine red balloons go by

Ninety-nine dreams I have had
Every one a red balloon
Now it's all over and I'm standin' pretty
In this dust that was a city

If I could find a souvenir
Just to prove the world was here
And here is a red balloon
I think of you and let it go

I doubt it would be funny if the north did invade and innocent people got killed. Would you laugh if some of our troops over there got killed?

Ha ha calm down, that's why I said I would be laughing on the other side of my face it's an expression you obviously haven't heard of. I don't think there are too many Northern Irish over there either. But if they were I certainly would not be laughing.

For your consideration Alien Mind... relax guy
