An indication of the bill's prospects came Tuesday as the

Senate killed an attempt to repeal
lucrative tax breaks enjoyed by the
oil and gas industry.

The move by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., would have raised
$35 billion over 10 years by limiting the ability of oil companies to write off drilling expenses and eliminating other tax deductions . . .
. . . the measure was
defeated 61-35. Twenty-one Democrats joined 39 Republicans in opposing the measure. Among those voting no was Lieberman, the co-sponsor of the climate bill.

More bipartisan treason against the American people by Senators whoring for their corporate johns.

'Bipartisanship' is code that tries to trick the American people into thinking corporate welfare somehow in fantasyland serves the people, when it blanketly doesn't & it is just more corporate tyranny over the gullible American people/slaves.

You have to pay taxes, but oil & gas companies get tax breaks & often tax credits as well as dodging anything else with offshore accounting gimmicks.

Taxation without representation is Tyranny,

Corporate Tyranny,

brought to you by the treasonous congress & whitehouse.
