I agree it forces the state authorities to intervene and hopefully the federal government to send those promised troops.

Going into a trouble spot like this with a militia and weapons is inviting trouble. They have no property rights and they have no reason to be there other than to locate and find some trouble from the feds most likely and the Zetas maybe.

If on the other hand you are someone vested in the area, say a land owner who is just going out hunting near your own property and run into trouble then you are JUSTIFIED. Sorry but I like the show.

I have been searching for just the right spot for a hunting lodge in the problem area. I found this one for sale for 5K AZ land

It looks from the google maps and Earth programs to be easy access and close to the Coronado National Forest which is one of the ones that is being posted. 20% down would be 1K and the terms would be affordable to me at 1 year at $350 per month. I could swing this easy. Then I am a vested land owner with a right to be in that area and can bring my friends for weekend hunting parties without raising much concern from the locals.

The idea would be to not grab headlines. Just go out hunting to see what wild life can be had and be sure to have a permit.

You do realise these are all trained at camps and guerilla warfare training?
The militias to me are the USA's second line of defence should your military crumble.

I got a lot of respect for what they are trying to do

I'd rather it was the Nazi's than the Communists who are far worse than the Nazi's.

Those of whom wanna spew that Nazi propaganda, are anti-american and need to take their filth to another website and embrace their tree hugging liberal brother and sisters!

Who is readily displayed on the banner of their website.

Not saying they are the same group, but they don't seem to be making an effort to separate themselves from Adolf Hitler.

Its political theatre pure and simpple..we get tons of this crap dumped on us to keep everybodys agenda fresh in our minds!
Free publicity and these guys get the added bonus of a possible holiday in a federal resort.
What they are about to do will be illegal to some cop or other.....
and i wouldnt doubt they would be detained on arrival.

It's funny, in a Greek tragedy sort of way, to see how many people think an armed angry mob is the answer to so many of today's problems.

What we have in AZ is an armed angry mob (Zetas) pushing their way into the United States and killing and butchering people along the border.

The response to such an invasion is a bigger angrier mob down there to defend that border. This group is going about it the wrong way IMHO but your sarcasm about patriots defending their home is noted. I am not so hot on the NSP/NSM but they are only saying what a lot of others are saying. The feds are doing little to nothing but posting signs and making promises at this point.

The ATS Nazi's, Nazi sympathizers and white supremacists aren't doing the dedicated Conservatives and TPM folks any favors. Perhaps that's the plan; to paint all
conservatives with the racist, jew hating brush that this group exemplifies.

Here is what they stand for...

The Fed will put an end to this. The drug cartels are nothing but a revenue source for our shadow government (CIA, etc). They will never allow the citizens to step in and "stop" anything dealing with drug imports.

Specify, please. Cheap shots without specific gripes mean nothing at all. That's like shooting without having anything to shoot AT.

I scanned through a lot of the posts here (sorry, didnt read every one of them) and there is one point that I didnt see being made.

Currently, the government is concerned with the growing militia movement in the US.
First, the Tax Day TEA Parties came to be. People started finding a unified voice of anger and disillusionment with the government.
Next, the TEA Party gained some serious ground, bringing in people of national noteriety, including Sarah Palin, to speak on behalf of the party.
On the backs of this ire comes a stark increase in the number of people joining local militia groups. As well, militia groups start making themselves more publicly known and available, guns and all, in public.
Now, authorities are getting worried. Local and state police are concerned that these militia groups are going to become renegade groups...or as the government has stated, "home grown terrorist organizations".
Meanwhile, the people are saying NO to everything that the POTUS, Congress and Senate are saying YES to and the anger is swelling.

It has been stated that most state officials note their states militia groups as growing, but still no grave threat to society, while also noting that it would only take one spark to set all of these groups off at once.

So, could this be a spark? Could the Fed actually plan to use this coming event to somehow ignite the anger of the militias and then take their version of "just cause" to remove them? The threat posed by large, armed, trained militants is not to the people, but to the government. So, could this be the government actually flinching at the thought of its people rising up against?

Lets hope that this event is a show of force meant to push back against drug cartels and foreign militants that invade our nation and not some government smokescreen to remove a threat to the current administrations long term agenda.

I applaud those people willing to risk their lives to save their country - especially those people who didn't sign their name on a piece of paper which would dictate where they would be stationed.

We need to understand that a true patriot is someone who is willing to not only defend their own home from invasion (i.e. someone breaking into your house/property), but their country's land & it's citizens

Personally I am not a white supremist, but I do love this country.
So if that is what it takes, for a group of neo Nazi’s to go fight for us then so be it.
This Arizona law thingy has been going on for awhile therefore people crossing into the US from there will know that this is a hot zone.
This leads me to believe that anyone coming into Arizona via Mexico is slapping the people of the US in the face.
For this reason I wish the neo Nazis or militia whatever you want to call them the best of luck in their endeavor.
I also will not shed a tear for any “brown person” attempting to do an illegal act against the US. (I certainly pray that their will be no children)
Now for the sticky part of this, I do not believe the operation will go well. The US is sure to intervene and mislabel these guys to meet their own ends.

These are some good points. I am glad you brought them to the table here.

I think that there are not too many Ruby Ridge's left in the public patience. About 2 years ago i started seeing the phrase "buy more ammo" used daily. This tells me some key information about the mindset of the average American.

I have heard men of the cloth discussing matters of patriotism. I have seen cats and dogs sitting arm in arm planning the next move against "the man". Ok, maybe not cat and dog...but you get the point. Disparate groups are uniting behind one key idea: our government has raped our country, and no one but ourselves can save us.

We owe a debt to our fathers and grandfathers. They were willing to die for our freedom. It mattered just that much to them. The tyrant has come home to roost, however. it is up to us to stop it. It may not mean death, but at the very least we have to be willing to go without cable, you know?

So you guys get the Truth here is a little more dirt on this Story

Veterans replace parade announcer

Former Marine was discharged for bad conduct

By SARAH N. LYNCH
TRIBUNE (Mesa)
September 30, 2006

Excerpt:

In 1996, Ready was charged and convicted in a military court of theft, unauthorized absence and failure to follow orders. Later that year, in a separate court proceeding, he was convicted of assault, conspiracy and wrongful solicitation and advice.

He served three months in confinement and had to forfeit $581 each month in pay for the first court-martial. He was also demoted to private. After his second conviction, he served six months in confinement and was discharged for bad conduct.

Ready, who ran for City Council this year without revealing details of his military service, infuriated veterans who didn’t want a disgraced ex-military man to be prominent in their parade. Some challenged his right to even call himself a Marine.
