I made no response regarding said Codex. So.... not sure what you are getting at. I'm all too aware of the powers of pharmaceutical and drug laws in this country and elsewhere as well as the ability of governments to misuse and abuse them.

Very aware.

My entire point concerned only the Executive Order which has absolutely nothing to do with that. There are no dots to be connected. Try reading it.

So he outlawed the use of things which don't work in the first place?

Oh the horror! Get a grip on reality. There's a reason herbal medicines and the like aren't mainstream, THEY DON'T WORK.

A few months back I looked through the Codex regulations, I saw nothing draconian, as has been claimed.

The supplemental guidelines seamed to have some common sense, allowing supplement companies to make claims; backing them up with scientific studies on the labels even.

Can someone show me some direct evidence?

Not some person talking on you-tube or writing a blog please?

OK, so not everyone sees a problem with Codex.

So:
1. The US is a Member of Codex
www.codexalimentarius.net...

Click on the US link what do you see? "Food Safety, COntrols, Inspection

2. Codex is an UN/WHO mandated plan for regulation and control of foods. Just look at how well they have done in the 3rd world regions.

All of this is part of Agenda 21. You can argue all you want, but a little research will lead you to the same path/conclusion.

Agenda 21 ---
www.un.org...

3. Vitamin B6 is considered a Drug by FDA, therefore it is now regulated by Government (US and eventually UN).

www.infowars.com...
(yeah, yeah, Inforwars.... do the research for other sources.)

Here is a video I did last year:
Economic Collapse 2.0 - The coming food crisis

www.youtube.com...

Lots of Links in the information bar under the video on YT.

4. Then you have Monsanto (aka MonSATAN) with their GMO's everywhere, they also have a pig patent they filed and keep fighting for that in essence will legally require that ANY pig that contains THEIR genetic sequence (which they want to patent) will automatically become their property. This means that with the rampant contamination of NON-GMO crops/feed with Monsanto GMO feed/seeds means that it will/would be almost impossible for farmers to keep their pigs (animals & crops) from containing the Monsanto genetic sequence.

5. Many countries are already fighting GMO (was it England? or an European country that banned GMO seeds?) because there is no hard data on safety or long term effects of GMO foods.

Look at the effects on world wide crops and compare that to nutrition. Especially in the 3rd world nations that still suffer malnutrition in spite of having UN food (GMO food).

6. There was a recent report either via Infowars or someone else that pointed out that the FDA or US Dept of Agriculture (forget who) that put out a report (will try to find) that said that they (US GOV) under reported or estimated the US Crop levels (reserves) below what they should be because they were under pressure to not report anything bad because the economy couldn't survive the effects. I'll try to find the source as I get time.

Bottom line, Codex is about Controlling what you put into your body, whether it's food or food supplements (vitamins, elixirs, home remedies etc.) aka Population control Agenda 21 style. Believe it or not.

The biggest concern for America is the idea that the UN/WHO or an UN Body can dictate what Americans can eat, produce, sell, etc. which goes against the Sovereignty of the US... because of some "piece of paper"... the Constitution. You know "life, liberty, and the pursuit..."

Everyone has gotten so upset and adamant about Small Arms controls when Hillary Clinton was in Europe, which would in effect make it a crime under INTERNATIONAL LAW to posses a weapon. Yet, no one has said anything about Codex.

Here is a good article on scribd

www.scribd.com...

While everyone gets hung up on the sources, a little research will lead you to other sources.

On a personal note, Last year I bought a bunch of seeds, Non-GMO, Herloom, Non-Hybrid (ie terminator seeds which don't produce seeds). It is increasingly more and more important to learn to plant and grow your own foods. I've done it for 2 years and am still learning what works or doesn't. When TSHTF, and it will, it will be a horrible sight to see all the malnutrition and starvation all over the world, and especially here in the US because most of us have forgotten how to do basic things like growing food.

DO your research, and prepare your food stocks, and plant something.

If nothing else, think about what is currently happening in the Gulf of Mexico, what if it becomes worst case scenario?

Well it would seem they are at the very least well on their way to implementing it. Between the court case, executive order, and with the new council we are in trouble. Hopefully people see what they're doing and it's all the more reason for us to take action now!

Thanks for the thread and keep spreading the good word

I think the best thing to do is to start ignoring them. They only control as much as you let them. Stop listening and they stop having control over you.

I mean their little virtual world can only work if we participate..

they don't need this codex non-sense to ban herbs and supplements. when ever they decide that a supplement is to effective and cutting into pharmacuetical profits they come out with statements like "studies have shown that supplement ________ has the potential to cause liver damage in rabbits etc." and 3 weeks later is off the shelf. meanwhile pharmacuetical drugs have side effects so long and toxic that long term damage to your system is unknown and scary.

I'm surprised at ATS for mocking and disregarding this very important topic. The intelligence has been steadily going downwards for a while now. I say it's time to close registrations.

The point of Codex Alimentarius is not to make vitamins ILLEGAL or to ban vitamins outright. That was never the goal.

The goal of Codex Alimentarius is to classify vitamins as toxins. When they're classified as toxins, they will be subject to stiff regulations and law regarding how much can be safely ingested. So where you're used to seeing 500mg-1000mg of vitamin C supplements, you would see supplements ranging from 25mg-50mg.

Once vitamins are classified as toxins, they will be severely regulated. I hope you enjoy paying for and chomping down 20 pills a day just to get your minimums.

Honestly, no one outside of the conspiracy theory community cares about or even knows about the Codex Alimentarius, so a huge catastrophe in the GOM would be really unnecessary and so messy and expensive!

Barbara is a fear monger, she has little knowledge on codex and simply gives a paranoid and largely misrepresented version of it. I will try too look for the site, but there are a group out there who are aware and worried about codex...yet still don't like the lies Barbara spreads and thoroughly debunk her. Showing that she either doesn't understand codex guidelines or simply hasn't read them...really should have bookmarked the site in question.

Good for Barry keep pushing baby! Soon you will have your revolution! Why not just get it over with and have an EO writing marathon and get them all out and on the table so no one can tie thier shoes without council approval....

People will be dying on thier front porches defending thier backyard garden soon!

I'm sorry to be rude, but these are two of the stupidest comments I've ever seen in my entire life. I've debated fundamentalist christians many times, but these two comments, on the same page no less, take the prize. I'm not saying the people who made them are stupid. But ... Wow. I had no idea that people have become so ignorant of the most basic facts of nutrition.

I agree with what you are saying, but you can bet your bottom Canadian dollar that there will be some serious food related poisoning event from non regulated foods that will usher in tighter controls. Just wait for it.

and when released was welcomed in the UN, of all places for a psychopathic criminal to be welcomed

Of all places??? Surely the perfect place!!

[sarcasm] Im not sure you understand these good folks very valid points.... It's got what plants crave.......It's got electrolytes. [/sarcasm]

On topic, unless there really is some swiftly coming disaster, or unless we really are toward the end of the "plan" the moves are meant, in fact i dare say designed, to be almost completely unnoticeable...The pawns moved today will not put the king in check for twenty to fifty years if history is any indicator. This is why the plan is called nefarious, because at the time it all seems completely harmless, and the full effect wont be known *by design* until future generations. Incrementation. Truly, the perfect example of the "boiling a frog" metaphor. Is there anyone here who would say the process of incrementation is ever once used by governments or corporations,.....or really anyone for that matter, for the common good of the people? I cannot think of one time, and this seemingly innocuous effort by our government and those of the other UN countries it effects is most certainly not that "first time for everything".

Do I think the leak was intended as a cover? No, because I still have hope that mine enemy is 1. still human and 2. not so stupid as to use such a blatant and obvious tactic.

Do I think they have taken this "opportunity" and ran with it? Most assuredly. Because they are still human, they become impatient and grow weary of waiting years for the cause to have an effect.

...what an idiot. That's right, and only in the last "hunnert" years or so did we get things "figgerd" out, too...huh..?

OP - Thank you for posting this thread, the more people read how much the Gov wants to control it's sheeple, the closer we get to conciousness.

This is very silly.

Why do we have to wonder about "secret" imaginary dangers like the Codus -- whatever, when we've got doom breathing down our necks?

We are killing the planet and must get off carbon fuels and nuclear.

Our economy is collapsing an the "austerity measures" and bailout at the top, won't create a marketplace because that requires people with money -- not corporations passing their debt to the customer.

Our country is controlled by corporations, and we've got electronic voting controlled by private corporations who get money from the politicos they elect -- couple that with unlimited corporate election spending (from anywhere in the world) and, guess what -- we haven't had a Democracy for some time now.

If you want to go check out what BP is doing to our planet -- you can't, because the COAST GUARD will stop you. They aren't working for a socialist muslim plant in the White House.

>> This nonsensical distraction is not helping people deal with the real problems, and a gun is not going to help you keep your home from the bank or feed your family when you are broke. You definitely cannot help solve a problem when you are aiming at the wrong target.

Exactly good sir.

Healthy people 2020 is a means to an end.

The codex is a means to an end.

The disaster in the gulf, contrived or not, is also a means to an end.

In order to understand the mindset of those who seek this end, you must learn to think as they do: total ruthlessness. This is not about money, tangible or fiat. This is not about greed, nor power, nor anything but control. Total, absolute, control. If you control the food, many willing slaves you will have.

"Lets see, salmonella in the peanut butter didnt quite work.....Yeah, and the toxic toys weren't enough either....hmm..... I've got it! Lets tell 'em the seafood is still safe! Thats sure to cause enough damage; they'll practically beg us to take control!"

You see where i'm going with this, im sure. If you can learn to think like the enemy, you can guess his next move.

I haven't read up on this so will just comment on what the OP quoted. It just seems to state that prevention guidelines/programs will be based on evidence-based medicine approved by the CDC. I am not sure if in later sections it outlines what the repercussions of not complying with these programs would be, but I believe it would most negatively affect health care providers rather than patients.
With "Obamacare," more people will be on government subsidized/managed health care and reimbursement to the providers will be based on compliance with these regulations. If, for example, a patient takes over-the-counter omega 3 and niacin for their cholesterol (instead of first line therapy of statins) and still reaches goal LDL, HDL, Trigs, Total Cholesterol, this would not comply with the CDC recommendations and the provider will not get reimbursed the maximum they deserve as a "punishment." The incentive is for the provider to follow the CDC recommendations EXACTLY in order to make a decent income.
As a health care provider in the US, I disagree with this.

I urge you all who is against Codex Alimentarius to please write your state congressmen. It will only take a few minutes but please realize how important it is to make your voice heard.
Write Your Congressman Here

If you send one email to Congress, it will ostensibly count as 13,000 emails. (US Congress suggests that for each person who takes the time to write or email a congressperson, there are another 13,000 others who share similar views but do not take the time to promulgate them.)

Please make your voice heard!
