I have seen several foreign officers in Naval Air Stations like Pensacola. We help train many officers from other militaries, and we have many of our offiers, and enlisted personnel also training in foreign bases. This has been happening for a long time, and it is nothing new.

These foreign officers tend to keep to themselves, and form their own groups most of the time. Many of these officers are form a different culture, with different values, and morals hence tend to stick with one another.

I do hope these guys have nothing bad in mind, and i hope they are found soon.

Fox has an updated story. Ten of the 17 are still missing. 4 are in custody, 1 is in Canada, 1 left the country and 1 - is a friggin' citizen!

So, reward an AWOL, deserter, contract breaker, illegal alien with citizenship, it's the "American Way".

To me, this was one of the most idiotic news articles. Seventeen people have disappeared over the past 2 years and now we are looking for them. That was the first stupid thing. Now, the second stupid thing is that they don't post photos. Why waste national news space and time if you are not going to post photos of who you are looking for? Have we really gotten this stupid as a society that we let foreigners come to our country to take advantage of our education -- then they don't even show up and we let them wander around for years -- until 17 of them are missing and somebody somewhere thinks that that might be a problem? Their names are listed but not their faces. Surely they would not use a fake name.....

They should just run the story on America's Most Wanted tonight.

J Walsh will have 'em rounded up in a week's time.
