As someone w/ ultralight as well as normal flight experience, it looks an awful lot like an ultralight trike. This would also account for the silence and certainly the shape. There is also a dark shaped "behind" it, which looks like it would be the fairing and pilot to me.

They let you take Pegasus out for a spin? And ya didn't call me?

The flight pattern is certainly odd, and in the image above it almost looks like smoke coming out, but I guess that could be cloud
I have sent it to a friend to stabilize the video... I'll let ya know when its done

I like this one you took

You are living next to Chine Lake. There is test and eval squadrons there. Some of them are depot level, and some of them are for weapons testing. Could be anything as i have seen some weird things on that base.

Palmdale is a fair distance from China Lake: China lake is in the NE corner of Kern County, almost in San Bernardino County; Palmdale is in north Los Angeles. About 100 miles between them.

Being able to visually discern a wing structure from 100 miles away is pushing hand-held camera limits, no? What I mean is can you zoom in with your basic camcorder and see the solar panels on the ISS?

[edit on 6/25/2010 by abecedarian]

I live at China Lake and have not seen or heard from friends on the base about any air craft like that.

If the aircraft was classified its not likely they would fly it over Palmdale.
Its very easy for them to load it in a C5 and fly it to Nevada.

i wonder if this is what you saw.

SHHHHH! clue #1

To LSWONE

Oh you DOG you.... making me track you down...

The heat haze might also explain why some craft appear to hover in mid air and hide behind clouds as if playing hide and seek. Oh yeah, it also gives them the look of having a chevron shape.

Now I see why they look so odd in the flight movements. Nice going

Only 4 HOURS to edit posts now? ARRGGGGGGGGG

Okay so the darker area is the plane with the stealth coating, but its not perfect yet... the white chevron is the heat signature and the smoke really is smoke

Who told you that? Just curious. I don't think this was a Northrop project as you guessed but looks pretty close though!

I hope you didn't have a hard time tracking me down!

edit on 17-9-2010 by LSWONE because: I did not edit this Post. They must have removed some critical information.

the smoke/exhaust was the first clue... but you dropped a hint in that other thread

Same two or three or more radiant leaks from a single aircraft
as in these old photos:

The last time I offered you a ticket to come play you came up with some silly excuse of needing a major medical procedure! LOL!

Dude, if you didn't want to hang out you could have just said we are not cool enough yet.

As for the poster...I would not be surprised to see me there too!

Cool Video. Did you take those pictures?
Can you identify the craft in the shots or are they unidentified?

Thanks for Sharing.

All unknown as far as anyone can tell.
I've been saying triangles of course since I think that is the latest craft type.
All from the same photographer.
A panorama that I showed him one time.

I put that on this page:
Original Triangle Internet Forum Postings

With links to original photos that are now taken down.
(run cursor over the tiny image)
No big deal nothing much gained from them except what you see.

Not a ride in the Buggy but how about some show and tell?
Just remember, not Cameras, Num Chuck...and stuff like that allowed.

From the looks of that video, it looks very much like a hang-glider climbing on a thermal...

eg: Hang-glider on a thermal in Croatia

What no one else has mentioned or noticed is that there are a few more visible in the video. They are hard to see since this is not an HD camera. This was shot at 25X zoom. If you watch the video at full screen and skip to 1:03, you will see another one at 10 O'Clock and is way higher up than the one in the main shot.
Like I said before, there were about 8 of them up at the same time.

Is it a common thing or even safe for 8 hang gliders to be up all white and going in and out of the clouds? I am not a hang glider so I don't know but I would be afraid to hit another one in the cloud.

LSWONE.

I think this is a good guess and does look similar. I have had some people say they are trash bags too! I am just not sure if they can get this high. Would they even be allowed to fly over plant 42?

There is a case for three glowing surfaces.
The three landing gear covers.
Always a problem of leakage perhaps when considering some of the proposed
propulsion mechanisms for UFOs.

Three Foo in formation?
Or one big ship sending out light balls.
I don't see aircraft here.
Especially not one ever seen on the ground.

The bird sound is part of the Stealth tech to throw everyone off! LOL!
