NASA needs FRESH DOOM in order to get more money from Tsar Obama. Then they can fund a 'private' return to the Moon without telling the Tsar...

It is becoming very clear who it is that just wants to bash nasa and who did not even read the OP.

I have heard allot about this phenomenon and it getting bad around that time. However, the title of this thread is a bit misleading to me. (No offense) Did it grab my attention, sure. But I am gonna think back to the turn into 2000 and live my life like I always have. Will these phenomenon disrupt things? I'm sure they will. But I doubt it is the end. Hell, if you wanna believe the Maya, we won't even make it to 2013! LOL!

I for one am TERRIFIED about this.

I mean OK, it's an 11 year cycle so back in 2002 the world was wired, but this were still analogue, and before that in 1991, people thought that an Atari 582 was super cool.

But NOW, everything is digital, the internet control everything is business, and services. banks are all computerised, so are super markets. cars operate on GPS, and planes too!!!

I mean can you just imagine all that going in one big electromagnetic bang. IN a few short days we would be transported back to the stoneage of the 1980's!!!!!!!!

I am very sorry about the title. I only used a quote I found from one of the articles I read. I was unaware of this being old news also... its defiantly new to me so thought I would share what I found. Thank you for everyone's insight.

Im no expert in the area, but isnt the peak of solar acrivity closer to 2019? it is a 11 year cycle like mentioned, but if i remember correctly this cycle started in dec 08 or something like that with no real activity till recently.

All this talk about being the "End of the world for 2012/2013" is aload of poop!

What will be interesting is how they will handle the crisis. They have the power to prevent the catastrophe : Just shut down the power grids before the radiations reach earth so they are not damaged. But will they care ?

This is going to be the next katrina,the next BP spill. They can prevent the catastrophe but they won't, I guess.

ahem... you CAN edit your title... well, i dont know about anyone else but im not gonna contribute anything useful until this gets taken care of. the apology is accepted, the idea of other people having to go through what we all did is not acceptable however. besides, do you wanna have to apologize once every few pages and keep gettin bashed? nothin at all against the op, i make the recommendation in the spirit of wanting to see everybody do well and work together to fight ignorance. (denying it is no longer sufficient)...

I like how it says NASA is saying all this yet none of the links are from NASA's site. Also they are scientists not politicians?? Wasn't it politicians that paid off the scientists to lie about global warming to push an agenda which we all know now to be complete BS?
