WeAreChangeLA Organizer Faces Terrorist Charge

www.wearechange.org

It all began when Bruno was sitting in the audience at a civil hearing for another WACLA member. The Judge literally did not like Bruno’s involuntary facial expressions, and ordered him out of the courtroom.

He was detained in the hall after asking to see the officers’ ID cards before he left the building.

Two felony resisting arrest charges were then tacked on, which means Bruno is charged with physically resisting the officers – twice? – though witnesses observed that Bruno did not ever resist the officers.

As a WeAreChange member myself, this scares the crap outta me. For anybody who doesn't know WeAreChange go to their website. The first thing you will see is quotes by MLK Jr, Ghandi, JFK. Does that sound like terrorist to you? A little common sense can explain this whole situation, the government is getting scared about citizens speaking their minds about the corruption in this country. I hope all the people who said the patriot act would never be used against American people read this article. The fact that Obama even reinstated the patriot act is pure evidence of "business as usual", and no "change" what so ever.

Okay so let's analyze what happened here.

1. Bruno is sitting in the audience at a civil hearing for another WACLA member. (Hopefully someone here at ATS can find out who this hearing was for and for what)
2. The judge ordered him out of the courtroom, for facial expressions.
3. He was detained in the hall after asking to see the officers’ ID cards before he left the building, which they are required to show when asked to.
4. He is then detained, supposedly for trespassing, but then that was changed to a public disturbance, and then finally arrested for contempt of court.
5. Then they added two felony charges for resisting arrest.
6. The arresting supervising officer claimed that Bruno threatened to assassinate him, then the same officer ordered an underling to back up his claim as a false witness and charged Bruno with making a “terrorist” threat.
7. Now they are calling him a potential cop killer.

So there you have it, from a peaceful protester, to a terrorist in just 7 steps. It's getting harder and harder to protest anything these days. I think this might be an attempt to try and scare WeAreChange members into shutting up and stop protesting since they having such a huge effect. Let's just hope these charges get dropped.

This made me sad when I read about it on infowars this morning. I'm hoping they have a site that will allow you to donate money to his legal defense fund.

As a we are change New Jersey member, and Co-organizer this pisses me the hell off!

thanks for bringing this to my attention

stuff like this is un-American, this is fascism! this is tyranny when you voice your opinion, you get maimed, mocked, and even arrested.

Is this the America we were promised?

IS THIS THE AMERICA you want your children growing up in!?

With all the lies, with all the deceit... it makes me wonder if we can ever get our country back.

What the hell!?

Similar to our founder who resigned.

Our old founder for WACNJ was questioned by state police when he attended one of Chris Christie's meetings a few months back. He was just asking questions, non-violent, not even threatening. When they asked him to leave, he left!

They went to his house, questioned him, and placed un-needed stress on his family. His wife even threatened to leave him.

It pushed him to resign.

this sucks!

Right now Glenn , and I are working on getting it back online.

We need more support though.

But stuff like this scares the hell out of me.

But hell... what keeps me going is a quote like this.

"All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to remain silent" (forgot who authored this quote)

It keeps me going.

Paying trial costs/lawyer fees will not do anything but inadvertently get you to pay for the lifestyles of the people you're trying to expose and expel.

I took a Judo style martial art for 15 years. The whole premise of the martial art is using a more powerful aggressors force against them. Not try to over power them, but to use their energy against them.

The answer to this, and every other problem is to overload the system. They can't arrest us all. Hell, they can't arrest 20 of us without causing a stink. They can't support us all on welfare. They want sheep, lets give them sheep. Make it to where we don't even wipe our butts without calling a government hotline and asking for instructions.

Apply to every government support program you can. Welfare, food stamps, assisted living, ect. Socialism fails worse than corrupt capitalism if NO ONE CONTRIBUTES and everyone stands in line with their hands out.

Sure we weren't raised that way. Sure it's more than a lot of our prides can stand. It's a peaceful means to an end and best of all it will work.

Per the article:

"charged Bruno with making a “terrorist” threat. After 911, legislation was passed making it very easy to charge ordinary citizens as “terrorists” for almost any reason."

This is wrong, 422PC aka 'terrorist threats' pre-dates 9/11 and the GOP/DNC phony war on terror by years and has nothing to do with "terrorism" or new legislation. Usually 422 is used usually when gangsters / thugs threaten people, or x boyfriends / husbands make "I'm gonna kill you" type threats.

www.leginfo.ca.gov... (look up 422PC)

According to the LASD inmate info:
www.leginfo.ca.gov...

Booking# 1360573
"Arrest Agency: 9024" = LA County Sheriffs deputies assigned to the San Fernando Court, aka NVMC
"Booking Location: NVMC" = North Valley Muni court

The "Next Court Code" is M132, meaning municipal court division 132 which is a bad thing.. Div 132 handles felonies... looks like he bonded out, no pending court date as of yet.

422PC- Any person who willfully threatens to commit a crime which
will result in death or great bodily injury to another person, with
the specific intent that the statement, made verbally, in writing, or
by means of an electronic communication device, is to be taken as a
threat, even if there is no intent of actually carrying it out,
which, on its face and under the circumstances in which it is made,
is so unequivocal, unconditional, immediate, and specific as to
convey to the person threatened, a gravity of purpose and an
immediate prospect of execution of the threat, and thereby causes
that person reasonably to be in sustained fear for his or her own
safety or for his or her immediate family's safety, shall be punished
by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed one year, or by
imprisonment in the state prison.
