BP would never consider capping this thing. Especially after the needed secondary well is drilled.

And I agree we have to drill to put the nuke at least 1000m below the surface of the well.

Like another member said, we need to get sensory readings of the interior of the well so we can determine where the ruptures are so we can better position our nuke.

Oh but you are right IMHO. They will NOT stop this thing. They will merely try to recoup their losses by getting as much of this oil as they can. Sigh.
