Whew .... too much space moving past by on this page ... my ego will be cowering.
This is my new idea in an attempt to end the media black out
Possiblity of underwater landslide and tsunami in the Gulf
If the President needs some help in getting around the brass knuckles presented as fear for harm of the general public (which is totally bogus, or
their temp workers would have better personal protection and medical services) ..... then maybe the general public needs to present him with a case as
to why he needs to be a bit more forthcoming in getting some serious cooperation from BP ... if that is not a non sequitur.
OK .. we think we are the big stand up country for the world, right?
There is not a chance for one tsunami ... but for THREE tsunami to happen:
I have not squinted at good bathymetric data yet .. I have to do this, but the general lay of the land which I have seen indicates this is on a slope
of the shelf, sloping south and the ridge is east / west. Richard Hoagland says it is in a canyon ... ? .. I don't know .. exactly (looks like a
very odd place, however):
Awesome interactive map, check the boxes on the sides, lots of information and updates are fairly current -- Back all the way out and you see the
line between Cancun and Havana going down to South America .. looks bad for Panama! (where is Gitmo?)
Interactive map Gulf of Mexico
.. the Bubble can just pop and go sky high or at least displace a LOT of water. ==wave and dunking of the shores with bad gunk, atmosphere
gets a big hit as well. Gulf gets oxygen.
.. The Bubble can break and cause an underwater landslide (see the one just to the right), and the landslide (remember the one in the
enclosed area in Alaska .. hillside slope to water equaled huge wave) .. same difference ... Hillside or canyon side landslide displaces lots of water
and who gets the first and worst wave? Cancun and Havana and then South America and likely Panama as well!!
Ditto; but this time the wave has a strong directional vector on it.
.. The Bubble bursts, there is also a landslide, and the landslide releases tons and tons of methane which also rises and causes another
wave or adds to the first. Ditto, only worse!
The other scenario I have heard on Videos on You Tube is a collapse of the oil dome itself -- at least 4 miles down: .. they believe it is over a
volcanic chamber and the water and the vulcanism would cause, ready? ... A steam eruption and steam driven tsunami .. this is bad as well.
Oh Mexico, Yucatan, Cuba; Oh South America, Panama ... we need to have a little chat ...I have no hard data ... but we need to inform you that ...
AT THIS POINT ... there can be no more stonewalling by BP! ..
At this point there can be no more molly coddling of BP ... by Obama.
This is worse than serious ... if the possibility is even plausible .... Hoagland is correct they need the Mud Log Data!!
And if we still want to be the stand up good guys for the World .. we need to begin sooner than relief wells!! .. We need to be "responsible" to our
American continental neighbors.
Plus, we need to get together with our World buddies, and we need to make certain such things are covered in the future. Especially in international
I am not saying it has not already been done, but ... no one told us, and it is supposed to be our country, too ...not just Washington's. They
"work" for us, right? ... ... ...
