Well after reading the following Document by Johathan Gray I have found that my view on Sitchin has certainly changed.

The problem with Zecharia Sitchin's work is that what he claim to be in the Sumarian coniform texts does not exist. His translations contridict the Sumarian dictionaries. You can check this online if you wish. All the tablits are availible.

His further errors are that he can not tell the difference between Hebrew and Aramaic causing translation errors. If you like fiction Zecharia Sitchin provides a good read. If you want the facts check the coniform tablets. A google search will bring up sites URL.

I have checked most of the tablets and some are not totally translated to English. you would have to know Sumerian.

oh GOD so it only took you one person? LMFAO

It seems that if anybody mentions "aliens" in their work it automatically becomes a hoax to them. You can even tell in the last indiana jones movie and the fourth kind. It seems people just hates aliens.

Yes and no.

They both believe in the ancient astronaut theory. But they both have different stories in a sense.

It has nothing to do with hating aliens. It is about facts and evidence. Neither of which are on Mr. Sitchin's side. If you disagree, please tell us what is wrong in Mr. Gray's argument.

SO explain the cone head skulls found? Yes, there is a practice that forces the skulls that way. But the cone head skulls are actual skulls.

He should just debate Michael Heisser and get it over with.
Heisser would expose him though, so it'll never happen.

She is not old enough to see any of the changes made to DNA, in her DNA.

They would need DNA from about 300,000 years ago. That is when the Lizards took over and the DNA was altered, so I hear. Before that time, we lived for 1,000 years or so.

Which 200 ton block are you talking about? The 230 ton Lateranense obelisk was transplanted from Alexandra to Rome. Perhaps you can tell us why the Romans would have been incapable of that.

The best available evidence is that the ancients were capable of moving huge objects via practical means, without the assistance of aliens. The claim that the ancients would have been incapable of this is the extraordinary claim; therefore the burden of proof is on those making the claim to prove it. So tell us why it would have been impossible for the ancients to move heavy objects.

Okay a few things here.
Zecharia Sitchin wrote many books some were based off his transaltions some of them were just made up by him. He does not really cite what texts came from what in most cases so it is really hard to tell what he made up and what he "translated".
The 12th planet as far as i know is supposed to be just translation, The Lost Book of Enki is a book that was written in the style of summerian texts that was made up by sitchin.
Anyone who really thinks Zecharia Sitchin is telling the truth can look here and see for themselves. www.sumerian.org...
One thing to keep in mind is that Däniken wrote Charriots of the gods (not only right after getting out of prison for fraud) in 1967 and Sitchin started the earth chronicles in 1976. That was a time when people could really get away with saying whatever they want while claiming to be educated in some place or another. Neither of these guys saw the comming of the internet or took into account that they would live to see an age where someone could look up pretty much anything on any given subject without leaving their house.
However i have no idea what this DNA test will prove, no matter what the outcome is someone will spin it to suit their fantasy. Im saying this now, if it turns out normal people will scream cover up. If there is anything off at all like in the case of the sample is too degraded people will claim it is because it is alien. And at some point we will read a thread about how ATGC are all reptilian masonic letters tha if added up divided turned into letters multiplied and turned back into numbers somehow spell out 9/11, jesus, nwo, god and whatever else people want it to say.

Yes, artificial cranial deformation was practiced by various cultures worldwide. The skull was bound soon after birth, before the sutures fused, forcing the skull to form into the desired shape. After the sutures fused, the skull would permanently be that shape. Nothing paranormal about it. The methods employed are well known and still used today for medical reasons.

If you think they are aliens, provide evidence.

200 ton stone

pardon me
my bad
I forgot the last zero

Ba'albek, Lebanon
estimates of the unfinished stone's weight have reached an incredible 2,000 tons

Over 450 international and domestic dignatories and guests gathered around the dry dock at Yantai Raffles Shipyard in anticipation of witnessing the exciting completion of the mating of Schahin’s SS Pantanal as the 20,000 ton crane TAISUN gently lowered the massive 12,000 ton
this is not a crane

www.youtube.com...
7800 tons loos like the biggest load moved

Iwas refering to a crane lift
world record: 1800 tonnes lift
www.youtube.com...

i picked a poor example
my mistake
late night posting

still how did they move that 2000 ton from where it was to where it is BC ?

Basically Daniken claimed in his books that there is enough evidence to support theory that "Ancient astronauts" visited Earth during our history and interacted with various cultures.

Stichin on the other hand claims that we were created by an alien race as slaves to mine gold for them.

Daniken was wrong on more then one occasion in his books, however i personally felt after reading his books that he was never dishonest "on purpose", and if he fooled the reader it was because he was fooled as well. His book contain some fascinating stuff, and even though you can't really call any of that 100% solid evidence you can maybe say that it is plausible that alien race/s visited us in the past.

What is most fascinating about his books to me is the outrage they caused in scientific community at that time. There you have bunch of people calling him lunatic and making fun of him for even suggesting something like this and yet most of them believe that earth is some 2000 years old and "God" created it in 7 days...

Also whats up with people jumping on Phage as soon as he post something that makes sense, can't people admit they were wrong?

Sitchin claims that the ultimate fate of all those theories would be decided by the DNA tests he wants done on Queen Puabi's remains. "I'm really risking my life's work on this outcome," he said.

he's not putting much capital worth into backing his claims...

ZS has throughout the years monetized his book sales & story telling expertise into a comfortable life with jaunts to UFO fairs all over the country/world to promote his unsubstantiated stories masquerading as 'Legend'... ~ hey more power to him... a harmless snake-oil-salesman imho~

You are referring to the Stone of the Pregnant Woman. It is not 2000 tons, but just over 1000. The Stone of the South, discovered in 1992 is larger at around 1200 tons. These are not much larger than the 700 ton stones used for the walls at Heliopolis.
