Personally, I don't think the rig disaster is the fulfillment of Rev 8:8-9, for a couple of reasons...

No. 1) Verse 7 has not occurred yet. Has all the grass been burnt up?

No. 2) I can't see how oil will destroy 1/3 of the ships. I'm pretty sure the oil will not penetrate the epoxy protecting the hulls.

I believe these trumpets were numbered because they were intended to occur chronologically.

The oil won't destroy ships, the highly explosive methane will. The scientific rationale behind Bermuda Triangle disappearances of ships/planes is that methane bubbles randomly escape from the sea floor in that area. Imagine the entire Gulf, Atlantic, and beyond saturated with the stuff.

a 3000:1 ratio would mean 75 - 210 million cubic feet of gas per day being released.

There is 5.64 cubic feet of gas per barrel.

That would mean there is 13.3 to 37.2 million "barrels" of gas being released each day.

(note: this is at standard atmospheric temp and pressure. At the ocean floor and 2,400 pounds per square inch, this gas is compressed by a factor of of over 1000 and will expand as it rises. So, in the video coming out of the pipe it looks like 75,000 to 210,000 barrels of gas per day.

1917 was the end of the Constantinian era of the Church and the begining of the murder of tens of millions of Orthodox Christians by Communism in the 20th century.

You seem to be expecting a terrorist attack or false flag event? I make no attempt to predict that. I only take major events, Euphrates drying up, world currency, etc. , and try and put them into some Biblical context, perhaps wrong, after the fact.

This may sound like a stupid question? but If Obama is the Antichrist, Do you think he is aware that he is the Antichrist? or does Obama deceive himself in believing he is a good person?..... I have heard stories from pastors who have worked with him...I can't confirm it so I won't even post it... but it was really creepy.
I have always had that same question with Jesus too. Was Jesus always self aware?
I know in the gnostics he struggles with his powers... but I don't really know how I feel about those books. they are interesting.

Hope this doesn't get the thread closed. Obama's real "mother" may be an ancient "Egyptian" queen, Cleopatra, through advanced DNA science that is generally not thought possible yet. His real father, Michael Rockefeller, missing since 1961. Forget all the other disinfo about his silly birth certificate, Obama is far from being merely Kenyan.

Obama may be a true "Manchurian Candidate", but worse, prophesies suggest in a terrible way that he may be much more. Could he be the or an "antichrist"? Personally, I'm not a religionist, but some interesting things seem to be shaping up with this "beast".

Earlier in the thread I explored the possibility that this Gulf oil disaster could also do the work of the 1st and 3rd Trumpets, if it rains down on the plants (1st) and freshwater sources (3rd).
