FBI releases files on Ted Kennedy, including a wild Marilyn Monroe rumor

The FBI today released 2,200 pages of information from seven files related to the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, including what it says was a "unsubstantiated rumor" of an attempt by the Mafia to "attack the character" of two Kennedy brothers in a plot involving Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe.

The FBI says the bulk of the files concerns FBI investigations of threats of violence and other extortion claims against the Massachusetts Democrat and other public officials.

The docs released were from 1961- 1985, and it appears that there will little in there concerning the Chappaquiddick incident that has long been the focus of CTs in regards to Ted Kennedy.

It will be interesting to see what if anything surfaces from these recently released files.

Its funny how they always wait 40-50 years or so before they release files. The people that were involved were probably around 40-50 years old already sooo.. Oh look - they would be conveniently dead. Nothing can happen to them.

They may release these files 40-50 years after the fact but the truth is they don't really tell us anything now do they, the same "rumors" have been around for most of those years. What is interesting is the file says there was a rumor connected with Marilyn Monroe, having said that it may very well not be a rumor.

I think people may have used Marilyn Monroe, but she would never do anything deliberately to hurt anyone. She was very compassionate person.
