Obama Issues Executive Order Mandating “Lifestyle Behavior Modification”
June 12, 2010
nannystateliberationfront.net...

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is fond of saying, “You don’t ever want a crisis to go to waste; it’s an opportunity to do important things that you would otherwise avoid.” Well, the Obama Administration certainly has not let the British Petroleum (BP) Deepwater Horizon oil rig crisis go to waste, using it as a smokescreen to silently assault and further diminish American citizens’ personal freedom.

While the nation has its eyes and ears focused on the blame game ping-pong match between President Obama and BP top brass, President Obama on Thursday, June 10, quietly announced a new Executive Order establishing the “National Prevention, Health Promotion, and Public Health Council.”

You will "change" to my liking!
Claiming the “authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America,” President Obama has truly gone off the deep end this time in his most atrocious attempt to date to control every aspect of Americans’ lives.

According to the Executive Order that details the President’s “National Prevention and Health Promotion Strategy,” the Council will be charged with carrying out ” lifestyle behavior modification” among American citizens that do not exhibit “healthy behavior.”

The President’s desired lifestyle behavior modifications detailed in Sec. 6 (c) focus on:

■smoking cessation;
■proper nutrition;
■appropriate exercise;
■mental health;
■behavioral health;
■sedentary behavior (see Sec. 3 [c]);
■substance-use disorder; and
■domestic violence screenings.

Making matters even worse, if that is even possible at this point, President Obama will create an “Advisory Group” composed of experts hand-picked from the public health field and various other areas of expertise “outside the Federal Government.

Did you just copy and paste this from another site?

Do you have a link to anything supporting this, maybe somewhere I can read the actual executive order?

If anyone should get screened first, it is his ENTIRE administration.

They will never get it.

Its all about 'them'.

They care not for us, they just use us to their liking.

Impeach.

If you can imagine trying to take a steak away from a hungry rotweiler that doesn't know you, then you will have an idea of what it would be like to take tobacco or cheese cake away from twitchy.

I kept hearing about all this stuff and really just blew it off at first, but the more I watched sheeple around me slowly accept this crap, the more I realized how real it was becomming. Some of those whacky arsed nutritional laws in CA just blow me away, and yeah sure it's good to be healthy, it's not somebody's else's decision to make. Reminds me of cattle in a way, but that's another thread.
Cavscout is right though, a source would be a good idea.

Lol what's the bad thing about that? We must have read different articles if you consider that "evil". Making people eat healthier in America that's the world's most obese and stupid country as well as trying to promote mental health and prevent domestic violence.

If you guys are stupid enough not to do those things for yourselves maybe it's time an administration shoved it down your throats.

We should not search for truth that can not be seen yet. We need to focus on what is before us not what could be.

I am not saying that it will not happen just that it has not happened yet. Not everything is a plot against us. Some things are and we need to keep our eyes on them.

They don't want people to be healthy they want to ensure you eat all thier processed poisoned crap and have to spend money to buy the drugs their big pharma drug pedallers make when you get sick from eating thier crap.

While we sit around distracted with complaining about politically correct forced socialism they are once again ensuring thier market for thier poisons! They do the same things with food energy water drugs and health care and even the air. It's all about money and profit for them and all thier politically connected corporate cronies. We are expendable!

I mean come on they want to chip every animal on the planet even if you don't sell them and raise them for your self, and they want to outlaw home gardening and vitamins & herbs etc. And we still have a bunch of goddamned mentally challenged marxist/socialist here who defend these POS... Sigh!

If you represent what is not stupid then by all means give me stupid. For years now the federal government has been dictating what the American people can and can not eat through the FDA and the USDA, and prior to the ascendancy of these administrative agencies Americans didn't have a problem with obesity at all. The stupidity of Americans you refer to is directly linked to the state owned and controlled education system, and prior to its ascendancy Americans were the most literate people in the world. But, by all means, tell us what you think government should make us do, and while you're at it, keep pretending you're the smartest clown of the bunch.

Guess who else pushed through a massive Health Care reform on the people without their consent??

HITLER!

"Hitler's Anti-Tobacco Campaign"

It seems that Hitler was a smoker in his youth but at some stage he became aware of its health hazards and, when in power (perhaps with the zeal of a convert), appeared to detest tobacco, which he called "the wrath of the Red Man against the White Man, vengeance for having been given hard liquor." But the antismoking campaign reflected "a national political climate stressing the virtues of racial hygiene and bodily purity" as well as the Fuhrer's personal prejudices. The same could be said of Nazi efforts to discourage drinking and encourage a better diet.

The state performer in antismoking propaganda was Adolf Hitler. As one magazine put it: "brother national socialist, do you know that our Führer is against smoking and think that every German is responsible to the whole people for all his deeds and emissions, and does not have the right to damage his body with drugs?"

constitutionalistnc.tripod.com...

Therefore citizens are STATE PROPERTY under this mentality!

"Hitler Youth"

Physical fitness, according to Hitler, was much more important for his young people than memorizing "dead facts" in the classroom. In his book, Mein Kampf, he stated that "a less well-educated, but physically healthy individual with a sound, firm character, full of determination and willpower, is more valuable to the Volkish community than an intellectual weakling."

I usually don't compare Obama to Hitler but damn guys. This is getting way too coincidental.

#1) Hitler was anti-smoking and anti-drugs (and didn't drink much either).
#2) Hitler forced everyone to exercise
#3) Hitler suggested changes to Diet (Vegetarianism)
((en.wikipedia.org...'s_vegetarianism))

Why is it that the people who always impose the "Ethical Good stuff" on everyone AT THE POINT OF A GUN, always end up being the LEAST ETHICAL and most putrid people of all??? It's a funny coincidence that.

It's dictatorship 100%.

I was never allowed to VOTE on this.

I guess we are considered State Property, and thus not deserving of an opinion on this...

Perhaps the real agenda is Universal Health Care. What better way to avoid covering costly procedures?

Cancer diagnosis? Oh wow, could be very costly to treat. Let's see here...upon reviewing your history we found tobacco purchases on your debit card ten years ago. Sorry, but you are now exempt from being covered for any long-term treatment or care that is associated with any and all diseases determined to be associated with tobacco products. Pain management is all that you qualify for.

You have an ulcer? Ahhh, based on your employment history,you were a stock-broker for five years. That particular profession was found to be a highly stressful occupation. Any long-term treatment that may be related to stress will not be covered. Pain management is all that you are qualified for.

Colon problems? Your doctor's request for cancer screening will have to be reviewed by the medical authorization board, since we found causes for concern in your medical history data-base record. Our system shows that you took Prilosec for a period longer than the recommended two-week maximum-clearly stated on the product insert and on the back of the box. Any non-routine screening has to be approved by the board, and failure to abide by product recommendations will be considered in the decision process.

____

Yeah, I can see where this 'Executive Order' is going. I think we'll see a lot of EOs that may turn out to be 'sheep in wolves clothing' in the coming year. The Health Care bill isn't affordable and they need to come up with ways to save some big dough.

Talk about the luck of the 'undocumented' illegal immigrant! No paper trail to document bad habits.

You can read it at the White House website. What? Are you a liberal who can't explain how this liberates anyone, so you have to attack the source because you don't have any better arguments?

Typical at this point. From a moderate btw.

That is the exact point. I seriously hope people get pissed off about this at some point. I can see a world where the liberals are all like "Oh but that's how it has to be at least we have health care look how liberal we are" la de da. It's really going to start to piss me off if I have to live in a country with a bunch of morons who think this kinda stuff is ok, that this kind of treatment of human beings is legit.

But somehow... the liberals who would usually care about the people and freedom... are all wet about this kinda thing. I just don't get it.

That's because we have a Hitler in charge! And of course it is unethical to screw with our free will! And it might be done at gun point at some point in the future. And no! It is not o.k.! I will always be against bull# like this, so if anyone ever needs help in the future, I'll do what I can.

I completely agree. The state run education system is horrible. There is nothing scarier than walking on the streets of this country, as I do these days, and realizing how stupid, uneducated and unable to think for themselves the people of the younger age groups are.
