I am curious to know the volume of visitors ATS gets from the top 100 countries. Seeing as you guy use Google Analytics, this shouldn't be a problem. I started a thread about cultural diversity on ATS and am curious to see what countries visitors come from.

Intrigued too to see if ATS is currently filtered by any nations.

If the top 10 is enough (at least for now), I know where to find it.

Just go to the Traffic And Content Statistics For AboveTopSecret.com page and look for the Traffic Overviews, there's a PDF file for each month from September 2006 up to March 2010.

Thank you, but found those statistics earlier. This website has quite a presence on the internet and am curious to know whose reading from where. If you are able to access that information, I would be very grateful.

With over 80% of visitors coming from the States, UK, Canada and other Commonwealth countries, shouldn't ATS be seeking a diversity in visitor numbers. This isn't a true reflection on global opinion coming from a global forum.

I'm thinking Jaime Maussan isn't included in that 0.41% from Mexico.

Why?

This isn't a true reflection on global opinion coming from a global forum.

But it is a reflection of the english speaking part of the world. And ATS is an english language website.

I cite the recent postings about Israel and Palestine as a reason to seek a more diverse level of contribution. The one voice we don't hear is that of the Palestinians.

This is a conspiracy themed forum, you do know that right?

hat are you expecting a UN sponsored were all equal type situation/

You may notice no one from North Korea or Somalia or Outer Mongolia on here either.

I see the "deny ignorance"theme just is not working.

One of the things a person needs to join this forum is,the ability to read and write in at least rudimentary English.

They also need a computer and internet access.

But finally they must have an interest in the type of things that are discussed here.

Just so you understand this,Palestinians don't just live in the occupied territory's they live all over.

My mechanic is Palestinian and he lives in California.

His name is Steve.

The site is open to anybody who cares to join.

If they are not being represented it's not ATSs fault. People can come and go as they please. I agree a broader cross-section would be nice.

A guess the question now is: How do we go about getting that broader cross section?

They speak Arabic. How exactly do you intend to include them?

ATS is an english website. People who speak and write english will visit it in greater abundance than people who don't speak or write english.

Yes, the Mossad is fairly active here, and there are many millions of english-speaking christians who are religiously motivated to voice their support for Israel.

But you didn't answer my question.

How do you intend to include these people?

What is it you propose be done? They don't speak english and according to this only 17% of them have internet access.

What exactly is it you want ATS to do about it?

What's the reason for the English only rule anyway ? Is that just some historical thing or were there particular problems on ATS, way back ?

Seems a shame to lose out on so many people who might enjoy visiting ... even in USA a substantial percentage (10%+) speak Spanish as a first language, not English. And there's probably as many who could get by in Spanish in addition to them. Bring them all here, plus surfers from those countries where Spanish is the predominant language and this place would be rocking !

And it's to ATS commercial advantage too. All those new folk, all those cookies, all that extra advertising revenue. That'd surely come in useful ?

English only ... it's like something writ on a sign in the 1950's ... "whites only" or "no Irish"

So old fashioned.
