Have you ever messed with Texas?

They always say, "Don't mess with Texas."

So, I'm curious to know if anyone here ever has and if so, what the repercussions were.

Well...

I haven't messed with Texas, but I have messed with Texans.

Does that count?

Either way, the results were generally humorous.

I suppose its safer than messing with Interzone.

I should elaborate so nobody thinks I'm a...um...Texaphobe(?)

I have family and friends in Texas, and when I say "I've messed with Texans," I'm talking about the more or less constant stream of practical jokes we play on each other.

As far as physical, anger-fueled confrontations, I've had my share but I usually don't bother to ask the birthplace of the guy whose ass I'm kicking.
