Is It Time for Law Abiding American Citizens to Stop Paying Their Taxes and Start a New Government?

The Economic Elite have seized our economy, tax system and government. These people are the most depraved terrorists on the planet and they have viciously attacked us and launched an all-out economic war on the American public. We have to get serious about defending ourselves and fighting back.

David DeGraw, AmpedStatus Report, does an excellent job of pulling together the meat of the ongoing financial "shock and awe" campaign against Americans and the rest of the world and is calling for Americans to join together to reclaim our country and defend the Constitution.

This is a global problem and needs a global response and with any luck a good start in the USA will inspire other nations to get active.

Which brings us back to my original question: Is It Time for Law Abiding American Citizens to Stop Paying Their Taxes and Start a New Government?

When it comes to the overwhelming evidence of unpunished theft, and the process of paying taxes into that organized system of theft, there comes a point when exploited people need to ask the question: Why should hardworking Americans continue to contribute to our own demise?
...
And dare I say, with ample evidence to back up this claim, the level of “abuses and usurpations” inflicted upon the American people is much greater today than it was in 1776. Despite an omni-present propaganda (mainstream media) system — which is the greatest weapon of oppression humanity has ever known, which has also obscured, isolated and suppressed dissent and understanding of our present tyrannical forces — recent public opinion polls have produced stunning results:

* Only 21% of American voters believe the government has the consent of the governed.
* 82% want an aggressive crackdown on the criminal class that looted our economy.
* 86% feel the system of government is broken.
* 79% think the economy will collapse.

These are amazingly positive signs, because this means that the propaganda system is collapsing. These results show that only 15-20% of the population is still successfully propagandized, and this number will obviously keep falling as the economic attack continues to escalate.

The Economic Elite are hoping that our propagandized population will just sleepwalk to extinction and passively accept a slow death. Those of us who are aware need to sound the alarm! Where are the modern-day Paul Reveres? We need one on every street corner, at every shopping mall and coffee shop, on every online social network. In our nation’s history, the stakes have never been higher.

If you are reading this right now, and understand that what I’m saying is true, how can you continue to remain passive? I know that just ignoring this report is the easy thing to do, but ask yourself, look in the mirror and ask yourself: Will ignoring this today make my future any better? Or will it make things much worse? Paid-off politicians will not protect your future. Your house is on fire and no one is coming to put it out. Are you going to, or are you going to let it burn to the ground?

Only you can protect your future. Your inaction makes you complicit in your own demise.

As the late Howard Zinn once put it: “You can’t be neutral on a moving train.”

And the train is moving at a quickened pace. Analyzing the devastation from the economic attack thus far, it has been equivalent to a 9/11 attack every single week. And these attacks continue without any significant measures taken to defend against it.

Our politicians won’t defend us and exercise the will of the people, so we must. It’s time to get moving, start organizing and to form a new government that is, as the Constitution states: of, by and for the people.

(continued)
We will restore a rule of law. The second America Revolution has now begun!

We are US soldiers, policemen, firemen, teachers, students, business owners, postal workers, transit workers, construction workers, union members, artists, journalists, doctors, nurses, lawyers, social service workers, factory workers, farmers, we are 99% of the population and we will not stand by and let our country be destroyed like this!

We are launching a 99% Movement and all the propaganda and labels that are used to divide us will fall to the wayside. We are not just Republicans and Democrats, or Tea Party and Coffee Party people, we are Americans and we are uniting against our common enemy.

The illusion being thrust upon us, by the mainstream media and current politicians, that leaves us feeling powerless to create change, is crashing down. As millions of Americans begin to realize the power we have in numbers and opt-out of this unconstitutional government that is currently in place, we will restore a rule of law and secure our freedom, liberty and future.

We look forward to proving the criminal misconduct rampant throughout our government and economic system in court. We will prove that the Government has acted against our interests, in an unconstitutional manner on many fronts and has actively facilitated the theft of taxpayer funds. It is beyond any legal doubt, as will be proven in courtrooms across the country. In fact, we are requesting a six-hour block of national primetime television programming to present our evidence directly to the American public. We expect the major networks to comply with our request, as the national broadcast television stations are licensed by the FCC to use the Public airwaves and are required by law to inform and serve the Public interest.

You as a human person don't pay taxes, you as a corporate person does.

Blacks Law dictionary person definition 1: human being, Def. 2: corporation.

people get thrown in jail for not paying their taxes because everyone has been turned into a corporation.

I agree we should stop giving them money to destroy the worlds economy, but you have to get rid of your corporate status first.

FYI I'm in the process of composing a thread that covers this. Stay tuned in the next week or so and I'll have it finished.

I agree, something needs to be done, I would rather nothing violent happens but sometimes its necessary.

Our forefathers knew that, I know that, we should all know that.

And wihout Taxes, just how would we Pay for this "New Government"?

Most of the "average" folks I know work for a living. They have neither the time, nor the inclination, to "donate" any of their "freedom" to "re-inventing the 'wheel' of Government"; no matter how much a vocal minority seems to think such a "revolution" is needed.

So that would leave you with, what? A small group of people who could afford to spend the time it would take to re-design, re -form, and re-build a workable government system.

Or maybe, we could all agree to financially support a willing group of volunteers?

We currently call that TAXATION!

Of course they would have to do as we tell them, after all, their job is to serve Us, right?

And if some of us are willing to pay some of them a little bit more to get our way...Well, that's Capitalism and Free Enterprise at work, Right?

But, of course, we Already Have such People.

They are called POLITICIANS!!

How's THAT working out for y'all, Huh?

When are you going to Finally learn?

Ours, is a Government Of, By and For the People.

The Problem isn't with the Government...

The Problem is with US!

I dont want to Hijack the thread, but, how is that working out for you?

Back on topic, we all talk a lot about a Revolution, but no one seems willing to sacrifice anything to bring about a change. One thing I (the corporate I) have learned is, Talk is cheap. Anyone can say anything. Hell, they can make up words. Doesnt mean anything at all.

Actions will bring the changes you are looking for, but until you can convince several like minded individuals to join you and you succeed, you will be known as a terrorist, and risk the possibility of losing everything you (the corporate you) have acquired. No money, no weapons, no friends and no voice. Are you willing to start it over and face the same consequences?

We as Americans have gotten used to a certain lifestyle and seem very unwilling to give that up no matter what they take from us.

Excellent! I had not had the pleasure of your revolution yet but having checked out your website, I'm glad to see that I long ago took as many of those actions as were possible. I recognise many of those actions as being among the activism list set out by David Degraw in the 99% Movement as well as Michael Moore in Dude, Where's My Country.

Focussing on abolishing the 2-party system, the problem with all suggestions so far is that they rely on using the voting system to vote out unresponsive politicians in order to vote out the voting system! Seems impossible but perhaps with all the attention being focussed on Alvin Greene at the moment, the politicians might be too embarrassed to fix another election too soon.

My main purpose of posting this thread was to call attention to the subject article because, having read about most of the information in 100s of disparate articles, this was the one that really pulled it together in an inescapable, in-your-face way that even my dyed-in-the-wool conservative Georgian brethren couldn't argue with (so instead are just keeping their heads down!)

If enough people are awake, the implied menace from their collective glares might be enough to shake the foundations and get the rats running.

Keep up the good work and I too will continue spreading the word.

No one wants "socialism" because we've had pert near 100 years of programming that demonises socialism while glorifying the uncontrolled capitalism that makes the rich richer, the poor poorer and is destroying the world for short-term profit. Most Americans have been propagandised beyond redemption, instilled with fear of demons from communists, socialists, Democrats/Republicans, Catholics/Protestants, Muslims, Islamic Fundamentalists to al-queda terrorists under every rock. It's supposed to keep our minds off the atrocities being committed at home by our government(s) and justify visiting those same atrocities against innocent people across the globe.

Yes the money is worthless but the scam continues unabated at least in part because not enough people are aware of it but possibly because we're limited on teeth to effectively fight the bastards.

I think that you hit the nail on the when you said "until you convince everyone" and that is what so many people are trying to do. As I'll probably repeat in this thread several times, my main purpose of posting this thread was to call attention to the subject article because, having read about most of the information in 100s of disparate articles, this was the one that really pulled it together in an inescapable, in-your-face way that even my dyed-in-the-wool conservative Georgian brethren couldn't argue with (so instead are just keeping their heads down!)

If enough people are awake, the implied menace from their collective glares might be enough to shake the foundations and get the rats running.

Hopefully you'll join the growing band of communicators and will feed back any useful suggestions on how to increase the "menace" to the point where politicians do take notice.

Sorting out the "corporatocracy" is a big part of curing the ills of the USA and the world. Our nation's indebtedness to the banks generated this private individual vs corporation owned by the state.

You Don't Own Yourself - The Fed Owns You

Let's get it added to the agenda and I eagerly await your forthcoming thread.

You won't get 30 people on the same page to do a damn thing. Sorry to be the wet blanket but no one wants to risk thier lifestyle even if they are in debt up to their necks. Nothing will happen until enough people are feeling enough pain and by then it might be to late.

I have spent years trying to get people to do something and few will do anything much less what is needed.

YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY, DEAD RIGHT! SPOT ON! NO ARGUMENT!

When you read the subject article you'll see that it's NOT about not paying taxes. It's about being fed up with supporting a system that is robbing you of your birthright. It's about finally defending the Constitution of the United States from the domestic enemies that have for so long usurped control of your country to their own ends.

It's taken me a long time (I'm only 54) to learn what's really happening in Washington and in turn right down to the lowest level of government and now I'm trying to learn how to turn this catastrophe around before TS(Really)HTF!

I've found no end of organisations who are working on (re-)educating the masses, trying to break the government propaganda that keeps you running on your rat reel until you finally expire only to be replace by the next sucker or until your wheel becomes redundant and you're dropped into the bin with so many others.

In the absence of a Smedley Butler-type leader, we've got to continue awakening people and hopefully reach a critical mass.

Actually, not a bad idea. I detested Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged for it's idealistic portrayal of the money men who in real life were completely profit driven and have brought the country to it's knees with the help of the government instead of in spite of it. It's critical to recognise who the real "looters" are in this country and I'm not talking about the liberals.

Many activists organisations are calling for citizens to leave the military or refuse to enlist as it's only real purpose is to impose the government's foreign and economic policy on the world. There are probably no end of ways to take this idea further. The ZeitGeist Movement is one organisation that in effect is working towards this end.

Your contribution is very much appreciated. However, the point of the article is NOT about not paying tax but about recognising that our government is out of control and hell-bent on destroying everything around them for their "profit" AND our regaining control. Despite the subject title, the 99% Movement's list of actions doesn't include not paying taxes! It very much includes a strong list of changes that Americans (and indeed people in other countries) should insist on to regain control of their government and thereby, defend the Constitution.

From my own perspective, the problem is not knowing how to make a difference. This activity of educating people will hopefully be two-fold: increasing the number of people who know that something must be done; and hopefully inspiring the collective conscience to come up with a damn fine plan for successfully changing the situation.

It recently worked in Bolivia in a smaller sense because the PTB tried to raise water rates too much and the population rose up peacefully in great enough numbers to effect a change.
Bolivia's Second Water War

Senseless violent revolution will do more harm than good but we cannot rule out the ruling elite bringing violence to us when they feel sufficiently threatened.
