In the Tom Brown books there is a prophecy about the sky bleeding. Could the gases from this leak burn the color red? Once the sky bleeds, the world of man has one year to become children of the Earth.
Also, in a previous thread, some video clips showed what looked like fire in the oil and it was debated that so little oxygen exists at that depth that fire was unlikely. However, could this have been magma coming up?

According to historical researchers (like Churchward), it is the reason both Atlantis AND Mu vanished. Gas pockets underneath caved in (fire, explosions, and ash), but that is not confirmed. I don't think that will be our fate though. Oddly enough, if Atlantis and Mu existed, it throws the whole Pangaea concept in a whirl though.

I don't post here often, but this is a daily news source for me lol. I just had a striking thought. Does anyone here remember the thread about the almost world wide tremor that registered on several meters? I think someone said Florida was one of the most affected areas. When was this tremor in correlation with the first indications of a oil line rupture?

It wouldn't be good if the well explodes and sends 500ft tsunamis into coastal states and Mexico.

I think BP corporate need to pay with their lives.

I don't know why these three topics grabbed my attention. They somehow seem linked...while not really being so.

It generally holds true that we have a lot more to fear from what the government does than from what it doesn't do. I would guess that this whole thing is, while not a hoax because it is real enough, but a planned fear mongering event to scare us into letting our Nazi-controlled government evacuate people into Fema camps and exterminate a large number of us. They caused World War's I and II and now think that even perpetual war is not killing enough of us fast enough. At least this thread is not dealling with noxious gases that the public have to be evacuated away from. But when volcanoes blow up, they blow up. They do it all the time. Are they saying they have to move people into Fema camps to avoid a volcanic eruption in the gulf? You may think I am stressing out on Fema camps, but remember that when the military has a weapon, they have to use it. Nuclear weapons, they used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Haarp they have been having a hayday with. That we have had so much viollent weather, hurricanes and earthquakes since Haarp proves that. Biological warfare we just survived a bout of with the swineflu last fall. Fema camps are a weapon they have had around since the 1980's and haven't been able to use them unless more people disappeared into them in Katrina than we are aware of.
A gas that twists bodies up backward like that picture no one can find and no one can forget from those children at Waco, represents all the fun and games they have had with their chemical weapons not counting Iraq. My guess for the next attack is gas. Developing a myth of a mystery gas that comes out of the oil spill that could provide an explanation or cover for them gassing the coasts is a definite possibility. They have these weapons, they have to use them.

1) Can a powerful earthquake cause enough damage to the Earths crust to create the same type of situation?

2) If the answer to the above question is yes: Has this ever occurred in Earths past? (Surely it must have.)

The US Government has to build a massive bund wall between Florida coast and Cuba with the aim of not letting the oil get out into the "worlds" oceans and create a monumental world wide catastrophe.

The problem with your thinking is that it will kill the GOOD people of the earth that care about it. The BAD people are rich, live in safer places and dont care about mother earth. It's all about money to them.

The geology is as follows. The deep sea floor is not made of made solid rock. It is simply soft sediments with a texture like butter. Under and within these sediments are pockets of methane hydrate in vaste quantity. Due to the pressure below 3000 feet depth of water the methane hydrates are in a crystaline "snow" form. Some call it "ice" but it is not frozen. Methane freezes at minus 161*C. The reason for the methane CH4 being crystaline is simply atmospheric pressure at such depth under the water. There are vaste amounts of methane trapped under and in the sediments that exist all over the world in the deep of the oceans. Geologists know this and no doubt some in the oil industry thought to drill into it. Thus "DEEPWATER HORIZON", a company of USA investors [at that stage nothing whatsoever to do with BP or British anything] working to exploit that resource. But at what cost ? Potential for what this video is showing. The material spilling out [40,000 psi] of the "DEEPWATER HORIZON" well 252 is nearly 100% methane hydrate. The orange coloured thick oil crude washing up on the Louisiana coast is actually not from the "DEEPWATER HORIZON" well 252. It is from a "DIAMOND" owned rig six miles away in shallower water that has been leaking the thick orange coloured crude for some long time already. The media need to close in on the truth. BP only got involved in the "DEEPWATER HORIZON" rig 252 a mere week before the blow out occurred. Thus in my opinion BP are not responsible for this disaster. There are no British personnel working on these rigs. The personnel are 100% USA American nationals. They make all the decissions. Too many want to blame BP, but obviously BP are innocent. The sea bed is soft and as the methane hydrates CH4 escape at 40,000 psi force the sea bed is settling down [subsiding] pressing down, thus forcing the methane out of the well at such force. In the video below you can see what deep water drilling might turn into. Which is why there needs to be a worldwide ban on deep water drilling. As regard to the under sea volcanic activity which adds to the problems, 85% of volcanic activity worldwide is under the sea volcanism. Such volcanic activity has its origin in the basalt hard quartz rock that lays deep under the sedimentary layers containing the methane deposits.

A lady professor JOYE working at the USA Georgia State University today 13/06/2010 has reported that levels of atmospheric methane in the USA State of Georgia coastal area are standing at 10,000 times above normal. To explode the level of methane would have to be at least 5% of the atmosphere. Methane is odourless. It requires specialist equipment to measure its presence. It has been noticed that vaste numbers of birds are migrating north away from the affected region. Do they sense what is coming ?

I'm sorry, that wasn't in the form of a question... but here, let me help you with that anyway: Coast Guard units from virtually every state have been deployed to help with the boom efforts in coastal regions, and coordinate efforts locally and with contracted workers for cleanup operations. BP also has shipped in workers from Australia, Mexico, pretty much everywhere to help with containment operations, and are working (although everyone argues not quickly enough) with locals via paid or volunteer efforts.
