I fine this to be a little strange considering so many Earth quakes that occured in the last 24 hrs.

My further concern is the quake near Mexico, rather small but the Gulf is on the other side . I feel this might further affect the stucture of the ocean floor leading up to where the Oil is sprewing. A total blowout. Mother Earth is talking to us, and she is not happy!

Why do you find it strange that there so many earth tremors. The earth is subject to continued seismic activity resulting in earth quakes all over the place – many barely noticeable – but usually confined to where the (tectonic) plates meet.

In the case of the Gulf, there is the meeting of the North American plate and the Caribbean plate. The Gulf of Mexico is on the North American Plate, but some way away from where the plates actually meet.

Yes I know that quakes happen all the time, however I'm considering a ''what if '' thought that could become a real and further concern. There was a 4.8 within the Cuba region on 6/10. Quakes in that area have been rare.
to enclude Mona Passage. I feel we will begin to see allot more in that area, what affect will that have? Not certain, but it could shake up more of the Ocean floor under the Gulf, maybe a total facture of where BP drilled 20,000 feet under the Ocean Floor.
Just a thought.

the earth, she aint so fragile.

she can shake us off no problems.

taking an interest in her health and wellbeing is nothing more than intelligent self preservation strategy by any species on this planet.

fail to do so; not so good ..

Good point rapunzel222
There are so many eliments to this.. Knowing this now, all surrounding areas/lands need to take heed! In the Gulf coast regions, Move far-far away, now! There will be a great shift in life!
It Started 5/20, uncertain when or if this will end before its destroys all of our Oceans life!

50% of Human life depends on it!
100% of our Sea life requires it!

Right now the numbers are not looking good!

Look closer, another shake in Mexico today, a few hours ago. Now place a closer watch of the stright line across from Asia to the center of the Gulf. (Place your cursor on the red line to get location/time/mag) I see Alaska taking a few hits 5.4, Baga Ca. 4.3, 5.0 Boliva, Cuba, I'm waiting to see what happens next in that area.
Appears to be allot going on today!

Thought I'd let you know!

Okay, just a little more insight, again take alook...
More events here compared from the past. Look and listen to the sinking of the gulf.

Pressure is just beginning to take place more so after 59 days,is why the recent shakes within the area, move again East towards GOM. More to come I'm certain, but further East.
I'm to a point if there is a slight change in that area, I'm again certain, there will be a shift within the floor of that Ocean bottem! Up or Down, left or right, not good!
Muddy Ugly one might say!
Much worst then it is right now!

There will be another shake in the Mid Adlantic Ridge, within say 24hrs

If not there, within Mexico, closer to the East side of the Gulf!

It's a Chess game of sorts!

It seems like Im talking to myself regarding this post..

However if you want to keep a close eye on this, it could make a difference
going forward.

Look at the latest, no earthquake has taken place near the North Pacific East Rise. that I recall.. Why now? About Six hours later, Guatemala.. yet small, but no less, a different consideration.

The land masses around the gulf are shifting, rather it be close or far away.

If you were to take into account, 5000 plus Wells have a hole drilled within Gulf's Ocean floor.. Its apppears to me, looking like a Saltine Cracker.
Or Rice Paper.

I trust these releif wells go well, but my gut feeling tells me otherwise!
I suspect it will make it worse..

Can anyone convince me that we can control, reverse the pressure of 150,000 psi or more comeing out of that hole?
Damn I hope so!
