I was actually surprised to see this unveiled at E3. In case you don't care about virtual entertainment, E3 is a convention that focuses on the gaming industry, wherein the big players show off their upcoming projects and shiny new toys.

Regardless, the video...

In the aftermath of a devastating global energy crisis, America's industries and resources have been brutally seized by a nuclear-armed North Korea. The military is dismantled and civil liberties are crushed. Abandoned by her former allies, The United States is a nation under siege, a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs. This is a police state where high school stadiums have become detention centers, where shopping malls shelter armored attack vehicles. A once-free people are now prisoners, or collaborators, or revolutionaries.

Now I'm curious on ATS's take on this. Clearly the game is based on current events and potential projected outcomes. Do you see the storyline as plausible? I don't think North Korea will ever have the pull necessary to take over the Korean peninsula, but that's just me.

Discuss, or in the very least enjoy the video.

The scenario is quite unlikely indeed.

The game looks cool though.
