One peopson has commented that the view counter on that video has been stopped. I went back and forth a few times and it does seem to be staying the same.

Any reason why this would happen? Does it only record my view once?

If it's youtube that has stopped the view counts, why is this? Do they not want this video getting onto the most frequently watched list?

I find it likely. As BP does have it's own YT channel.

And it seems like BP does have a thing for censorship in an attempt to preserve of their company's rep before it goes even more downhill. How they have the authority to do this? Who knows...
