How can anyone assert "swiftly" when not a single bullet point of yours includes a measure of time, such as when such things were accomplished or deployed?

Moreover, most of your numbers are meaningless if they aren't compared to the actual scale of the problem or the additional resources that could be marshaled or made available to address the crisis.

Don't agree to be spoon fed. Think.

Agreed, and star 4 U.

OP: please provide a source for your figures (Shasa Faal will Not do!).
I better stop here so that I don't receive another warning or get censored again.

You can find the timeline on the WhiteHouse website, or Fox News also did a piece on it. Fox News actually sourced it from the President's appointment journal which is unalterable and absolute proof of who he met with and the subjects discussed. He did in fact respond the day following the rig explosion and hasn't had more than two days without meetings on it since then.

The only organization that acted swiftly was the USCG they were there from day one. Obama is trying to take credit for this but he had nothing to do with it. It was an automatic response by the Coast Guard.

It doesn't really matter anymore, public opinion is that Obama didn't handle this right and I doubt it can be swayed this late into it.
Sucks to be Prez.
