Galloway has been in british politics for many decades. Hes been elected by the people over 3 times. The reason seems to be that he continually
highlights issues and controversial material that other politicians avoid.
For the last ten years or so he's basically been at war with the media, UK govenment and the US administration, and victim of endless smear campains,
thrown out court cases, and general extreme misrepresentation by the media. He's won 4 court cases now against british tabloids, so they now leave
him alone completely
Despite this, which likely would have crippled any other politican, Galloway seems to thrive on the challenge of the smears, lies and false image the
media tries to create of him. Every interview he has he comes out on top and out smarts his opponent. He can get a bit lary too at times, which is
understandable, but very fun to watch. Especially when hes basically catching out entire news teams live on air of lying. Ends with his closing
statement at the US senate hearing.
Anyway heres the clip, its a compilation of all his best bits.
Its a shame we no longer have George as an MP. There are very few like him, who have principles, who fight for a cause a proper socialist. One less to
represent the working man. You are only represented now, if you have had Oxbridge education. George could out intellectualise the lot of them, without
any university education.
Star and Flag for the best post on these hallowed boards in a while!
I remember well how badly Mr. Galloway was demonised during his electoral campaign and I must admit, at the time I was most definitely against him.
It is only in retrospect that I realise he was one of the last dwindling voices of the people.
Also, I hate all of this "I love my country" BS. I love PEOPLE.
