The prize draw will take place on 12 July 2004.
Very interesting to say the least.

Oohh, that would be scary. Tunnels freak me out. But they excite me as well. I'm in.

Ok. wow. Why do I feel that this is a hoax?

"It has taken 42 years to complete the tunnelling work, but a further 23 years to get the tunnel into its current state."

I've never heard of this thing. Is it real? Fake? What is the point of it? It has to be horribly expensive to build something like this. I dunno. Just sounds suspicious.

Thought this seemed a little too suspicious.

Its nothing more than a hoax. No wonder I've never seen anything like this on any of the engineering marvel programs.

Argh. You ruined my fun. If you fill out the form, or even click 'submit' it tells you it's an April Fools day joke

I just hope it put a smile on a few faces.

Ah... sorry bout that :-). I didn't even try to fill the form out. I was more interested in the project. lol. Plus I figure no one really ever wins those contests.

But very clever none the less.

I agree. It would be a very cool project, and it is a great hoax/April fools day joke. But I am lazy, so anything with much effort is impressive to me.

No it's true! John Titor said he used it all the time. And when I booked my seat they told me I would be sitting next to some bloke from Austrailia....
