Is Stephen Colbert or his staff following ATS?

I saw a thread ealier mentioning that a joke on here was eerily similar to one he did on his show. Now tonight he did a segment asking if Obama was in the whoomp there it is video.

So I ask, is Stephen Colbert a fan of ATS?

I'm watching Colbert now, ... and I'm thinking the exact same thing.

do you remember what the joke was you saw on his show, and which thread it is in here ?

The whoomp there it is conspiracy thing is all over the internet not just ATS.

CNN did a story on it today also.

I would like to know the joke he used tho.

Gather all the evidence you can and send this thread to John Stewart. I am sure he will get a kick out of it, and possible even do a segment.. Stephen and he like to poke jabs at each other.

I think that many news outlets actually go to ATS to see what the "conspiracy" folks are talking about. I think I'll go watch The Colbert (silent t) Report (silent t) on my DVR right now and review the evidence firsthand

If not Stephen, then one of his writers maybe?
I did radio a while back, and ATS was near the top of my morning 'papers'.
A lot of rubbish on here, but it's an excellent place to find breaking news.
No one "gets to print" quicker than a bunch of paranoid weirdos, we are indefatigable.

I think some of his writers are quite nerdy, so is Colbert though. The trololololo video was classic. I do get a vibe that they read similar stuff to what ATS has.

Can't remember exactly when (couple years or so), but I recall once that while watching CNN, a member saw one of the staff's monitors in the background had ATS up on it....

Here is the thread you mentioned about the joke from BTS winding up on his show. He is quite clearly a fan

Interstingly enough I didn't even know you had made this thread, OP, until I did a google search for "Colbert on Above top secret", just to see what would come up. The thread I posted above , which was my own came up first, and this one of yours came up second. Pretty cool.

you don't realize how websites like this help the media to decide what kinda storys to run, is not like they can activliy track on what you are watching and how you feel about it, so they come and troll sites like this to get inspired, I think the major news networks like msnbc are doing it too..
