How can ATS claim they are about truth, intelligence, and DENYING IGNORANCE when this entire broadcast shows non of that.

Just when did the BP oil " leak " ever become a "spill" ?

There is a huge difference between the word SPILL and LEAK.

Mainstream media ( when reporting on this BP issue ) constantly switches back and forth using both words....WHY?

FOR LEGAL AND MANIPULATION REASONS.

The question is WHY WOULD ATS USE THE SAME TACTIC if they are all about denying ignorance?

Using the word SPILL embeds a totally different picture in the mind of the viewer as does using the word LEAK.

You cant stop a *snip* leak thats 10,000 miles BELOW the ocean floor unless you dump the entire weight of the state of TEXAS on top of it ..... BUT A SPILL can be cleaned up using bounty paper towels.

get it?

If mainstream media constantly referred to it as a LEAK, people would of been rioting already...but SPILL just pisses off people and doesnt make them go out and make chaos.

Its word magic.

Educate yourself and read the definitions for both words.

This broadcast is SUSPECT.

Is all that anger based on the fact that the two people are women, talk funny to you, and look funny to you as well? So - you're telling me that EVERY criticism of them is based on superficial elements?

And then you actually talk about how mainstream media pisses you off, for focusing on the superficiality of news anchors instead of the reality of the situation? Whoa buddy, too much irony in one sitting!

MOD NOTE:

Let's all be civil! If you cannot behave and follow the T&C simply do not post at all or action will be taken appropriately.

This is a warning to all.

I had similar issues at first, but finally got the whole thing to load by hitting play then pause, waiting for the entire clip to load before hitting play again. Give it a try it may work for you as well

Thank you for the tip. I was able to watch the entire video.

Great job...Julie and Ashley!

Now that was a very good comment. I doubt you will offend anyone with that post as it hit the nail on the head, stated the problems and didn't insult anyone.

Good job, have a star

Wow! A bunch of conspiracy nuts eating up garbage because attractive women are presenting it to you! The girls couldn't care less about the subject matter!

But both women are long-term, active ATS members and moderators -- Julie (asala) has been around since 2003 and Ashley (AshleyD) has been around since 2007. Both have proven their conspiracy bona fides in threads and posts on these boards. Why does their interest only come into question when people find out that they are gorgeous?

If you doubt their interest in the matter, it might be worth looking through their thread histories. I'd particularly recommend AshleyD's thread on false flag operations, which is a great primer on the topic and in my opinion demonstrates a good handle on government conspiracies both here in the US and abroad.

Actually, that might make an interesting segment on future shows -- conspiracy history

Anger? lol !

First off, Their is no anger in my words.

Secondly,Im not telling you my criticism is based on superficial elements.

Thirdly:

Its hypocritical to support animal rights and also support an entity
for animal rights while they are dolled up in dead animal skin.

This wasnt an attack on anyone;personal or otherwise - just a valid point to address.

Instead of being a cheerleader, you should also ask yourself why they chose to label the disaster a SPILL and not a leak.

Sorry, I certainly don't want to get you more upset than you already seem to be, however, you said:

The people that truely count
(don't want to hear this, etc.)

...and I was just wondering if you would explain who these people are, (who count), and how do you differentiate them from the people who do not count. I'm just confused about who counts and who doesn't.

Thanks if you can clear this up.

It's a great Idea, however I found I got bored VERY quickly. Ashley (the British lass) needs much more practice, her elbows were all over the place and she lacked the articulacy and fluency of the other girl, who I thought actually did a very good job. Maybe Ashley just needs to relax?

As has already been mentioned I found the news report format to be a big turn off. Full screen cutaway sequences are definately needed, not just still images either. Maybe even get interviews with (other) specialist ATS members to keep things colourful...

Good effort but needs some work, it is only a pilot, but needs work...

Graphics were very nice and the humour was almost there, a little awkward, but on the right path given time!

And much respect to both girls and all involved for creating this, great idea, will come into it's own I'm sure!

I enjoyed this production.

Needs a wee bit of polishing though.

Music wise might I suggest this as an opening tune for the girls if you are going for the 70's funkadelic sound...

or if not, what I believe should be the ATS tune of the year as it covers many of the topics...

Damn, you have a lotta options here actually

I can see this being superb with a little bit of polished extras seeing as this one was the beta.

Well done though!

Good casting choice as well!

Johnny was good at ATS news as well though.

One thing I've learnt from this whole 'conspiracy chicks' saga... a lot of people on here take things way too seriously.

Honestly, if you don't want to watch it, don't, if you do end up watching it, why are you criticizing anyone for anything? Is it your efforts that have gone to waste in the production? No, you merely chose to watch it and then decided to post something negative.

Jesus... calm down. It's as if someone has done you a disservice and forced you to watch it.
